“Kind of pricey for the room, but we wanted to spend the 4th of July in Blackhawk thinking there would be more going on up there. Fireworks were canceled. Anyway, the room wasn't so clean. There were crumbs in the corner were you can see it was missed a few times not being vacuumed. The room coffee was not that great. There were 2 of us, but one regular pack of coffee. There was a couple things left on the bathroom counter from the last guests, small cuts in the lamp shade, it looks like someone...

“We recently returned to the Monarch after our previous stay was so enjoyable. This time however there was a dog next door to us that barked for hours in the middle of the night. After sharing our concerns with management we were assured we would be taken care of; come to find out their compensation was waiving the $34 resort fee. When I shared my disappointment in this resolution the staff replied with “best of luck in your future travels” … not the type of customer service I would expect...
