A stop n shop (grocery store) is on the next block over and I always walk there to grab stuff for the room. Breakfast is always great, rooms are spacious and clean, and the area is quiet enough. I go to the front desk and ask for a new room, since I had booked a “recently renovated room” — yes, that’s exactly what it says in my booking. The room is barely 1–2 stars.
After two separate discussions, I am first promised a better room, only to later be told, when it’s time to switch, that I’ll have to “settle” for an equivalent (recently renovated) room.
The breakfast was substandard — we only ate 2 out of 4 days. This is an overall terrible hotel, with an unfriendly manager and a total scam!
I believe Hotels.com should remove this hotel from its listings, as it tarnishes the reputation of other affiliated hotels that actually deliver what they promise in their marketing."
