Cannon Fort, Cat Ba, Vietnam A short hike from Cat Ba Town up a steep hill and you get to Cannon Fort. Built by the Japanese in WWII, it was also used by the French during the Indochina War, and the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Well worth walking around the fort and you also get stunning views from around Cat Ba. #packsandaplan
