The property was clean however we did see about 5 cockroaches in our 10 night stay. As mentioned in another review there is a very loud obnoxious whistling sound that comes from the front doors but can be lessened by opening up the slider. The trade winds really come through good and keep the place cool in the afternoon and evening when lounging. My daughter used the sofa as a bed and seemed pleased. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced⊠desperately. You can see the sagging when you walk in to the bedroom. Although it wasnât unbearable for 10 nights I'm looking forward to a springless mattress at home. The beach isnât really a beach unless you walk along the sandbags to the left and go to the neighboring beach access. This was a bummer to me as Iâd hoped for a nice beach. However there are lots of great beaches nearby and the cooler and beach chairs make it a nice and easy journey. We packed lunches almost daily. If you choose to rent snorkels note they have a couple in the closet already which we didnât realize before we had rented for a week from snorkel Bobs. Also check other places they may be cheaper. The kitchen was equipped with most of what we needed although out of salt and no other seasoning. We were excited to see a Yahtzee game but then saddened to see it didnât have dice so we went to the store right by the gas station to buy some. I would consider this a nice budget friendly type place, not high end & with little frills. Overall it wasnât bad!
