“A convenient place to stay for those wishing to explore Comayagua. Patio de Joan is only a few blocks from the city center and the central park area. The couple who own Patio de Joan were both very nice people, the wife conversational in English. The room was nice and the outdoor sitting area pleasant. Each morning they offered coffee in the outdoor sitting area which was very nice. Prior reviewers have mentioned the noise from a nearby bar. That bar was on the same side of the street...

“Me and my husband and 13 year old daughter stayed here for 2 weeks .. this little hotell is located in a djungle like tropical location with beuatiful surroundings .. still its just a 5 min walk to Sandy bay with great snorkling and 2 good restaurants .. you can easily go to west end by bus or taxi only 5 min ride or walk apx 20 min to west end so the location is perfect for both relaxing and close to bars and restaurants in west end .. the food and drinks at the hotell are very good and fresh...

“Two of us really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in a nice gated area of Roatan very close to the water with beautiful plants and grounds around you. Area was very secure and was convenient to most things. Owners live close by and were more than helpful in making sure your stay was an exceptional one. We stayed there for 9 days and would absolutely stay there again without hesitation. Thank you again!”

“Beautiful place to stay ,beautiful view , far from places so get a rental car but overall amazing place to stay if you don’t want to be around all the tourists and just a quite area this would be the spot ”
