“Not bad but far out of the way of everything”

“Ótrúlega fallegt hús með frábært útsýni. Húsið er hannað þannig að það fellur algjörlega inn í landslagið, maður er inni en líður eins og maður sé úti! Hönnunin á öllu er konfekt fyrir augað og rúmin og sængur og sængurverasett eins og á lúxushóteli. Heitur pottir fyrir utan skemmir ekki fyrir heldur. Eigendurnir ótrúlega almennilegir og redduðu hlutum sem við höfðum gleymt að taka með. Húsavík er ca 25 mínútur frá með bíl. Hefðum svo mikið vilja getað vera lengur, við komum 100% aftur!! ”

“Here’s a polished review you can post:Our family stayed here in July, and this is truly one of the most unique properties we’ve ever rented. The views are absolutely amazing, and the sunsets are simply breathtaking. The home itself is stunning, with a beautiful glass staircase that makes a great architectural centerpiece, and the steam room was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working, so the evenings were quite warm. The...

“Well located beautiful house with exceptional communications from host. Very very helpful with answers to questions”

“Place was amazing with splendid views! ”

“We loved staying at Thomas' house. The view is unbeatable and the house is perfect. Thomas was also very responsive and helpful. Thank you!”

“The location was fabulous. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and met most of our needs, travelling with a multi-generational family. Many of the light switches were not working, so that was a little inconvenient. The awning door for the microwave didn’t function, making operation a little challenging. We had zero communication with the owners, having tried by email and phone for several months in advance of our stay, even Expedia failed to make contact. That should not have...

“Address given to the property is way off. We got lost and took us awhile asking some people 10 km away. But, the house is unique with many cool features.”

“Está muy retirado de Akureyri, todo lo demás muy bien”

“The property locates on a quiet farm with mountain views. The rooms are spacious and clean, decorated with good taste. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed cooking our own dinner and sitting on the deck outside, waiting to see the northern light. Would definitely come back if we have a chance to visit the area again.”

“An elegant house in a spectacular setting!”

“Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The house was very clean once we got directions on how to get in.The parking spaces were great to have.Very convenient to downtown and highway access.Could have used some bigger pillows and coffee cups. Way too many plates, even for seven people!Loved all of the available seating for everyone.Very quiet neighborhood after the first nite…..some loud discussion outside our windows at 3am.Could use updates on the local information and available amenities.Overall, we had a great time!”

“Comming to the house was like landing like a bird on a cliff. A marvellous view and a beautiful house. Here you have everything you need.”

“We loved this house - the location during lupin season is absolutely stunning. Housewas clean and well stocked with cooking utensils. As a family of four, we found it a perfect launch pad for day trips to Reykjavik and short excursions into the countryside for hiking (side note - Hugofloss is only 20 minutes away and is a perfect waterfall hike for kids. We were the only ones on the trail!). I would stay here again (and again). Note that there are quite a few stairs to get to the front door....

“Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will.”

“We found this home exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped for visitors. The views are incredible, the hot tub was lovely, and the host was very welcoming and responsive. The home is in great proximity to Golden Circle sites and we wish we would have booked this home for longer.”
