“It’s a beautiful house in a new neighborhood. The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly...

“ This modern house has many nice features—including a sauna, hot tub, and full laundry room. The views from the walls of collapsible accordion doors are stunning. However, a lot of space is devoted to the porch and living room while two of the bedrooms are VERY small. We had three couples staying, and the two in the small rooms had to put their luggage in the living area since no room to walk in room otherwise.
