The private Tuckaway House offers the convenience of walking to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort while being located in a gorgeous tucked-away setting in the woods of the original Teton Village neighborhood. This spacious 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home features a bright, NEW open and airy kitchen with beautiful custom cabinetry, open shelves, and soapstone countertops. The new dining table seats 10 comfortably. Contemporary artwork from a local gallery adds special ambiance to the home. Multiple sleeping arrangements make Tuckaway House perfect for a family or large group.

Walk in from the lower level either into an expansive entryway or from the covered carport area with ample space for skis. From the entryway, find a large entertainment room to the right featuring an 85” Flat Screen TV, pool table and new sectional with a comfortable queen size pull-out bed and half bathroom. Just off this room is a private mother-in-law suite with an additional kitchen, queen sleeper sofa, queen bed and walk-in shower. Around the corner is a large bunk room with two sets of twin over full size bunk beds that comfortably sleeps four adults or six adolescents.

Back to the entryway, follow the beautiful knotty pine staircase to the upper level where you'll find the main living space. Walk into the freshly remodeled galley-style kitchen. The open yet efficient concept allows for convenient access to all appliances and a large-shelved pantry, as well as open access to the cathedral ceiling living room. New bar stools on one side of the fireplace and wine bar shelving on the other are a welcome new touch to this gathering space. There, relax in the refreshed living room with its comfortable leather furnishings and valley views. Don't be confused, as this space also features a large flat screen TV disguised as beautiful artwork when not in use. The wood burning fireplace is perfect to cozy up next to on cold winter days or cool summer evenings. When weather permits, enjoy the barbecue or unwind in the hot tub on the walk-out deck just off the dining room. The bedrooms on this level are on opposite sides of the kitchen. To the left of the top of the stairway, you'll find the Primary Bedroom with a large king bed and attached ensuite bathroom. Down the hall from this space is a large guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. Around the corner are two more bedrooms, both configured with twin beds. One set of twins can be converted to a king bed for a fee, upon request.

Tuckaway House is one of the few homes in Teton Village located within steps of the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Teton Village shops and restaurants are within a short walk away. Guests are consistently amazed at how abundant the wildlife is in this neighborhood, and so close! Keep your camera ready for moose, elk, deer, or frequent fox strolling through the property! Skiers can walk down the road a short distance then put on skis at an access point that leads to the base of the tram or over to the gondola. Minutes away lies the Moose Wilson entrance to Grand Teton National Park. This route often rewards with up-close sightings of bears with cubs, moose, elk, deer, foxes, beavers, osprey, red-tailed hawks, and more!

In summer, you're within walking distance to a wide variety of activities in Teton Village. Your family and friends will keep busy in the Grand Adventure Park learning the ropes course, bouncing around on the bungee trampoline, and taking a shot at the climbing wall. You can also enjoy hiking the on-site trails spilling over with beautiful wildflowers, testing your mountain biking skills on lift accessed trails of all ability levels, taking a guided tour of the Via Ferrata climbing routes, and trying out the disc golf. Riding the “Big Red” tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for 360-degree views of the Tetons and splendor of the valley spread out below you is a must. Pop into Corbet's Cabin at the top of the tram for their famous homemade waffles. Take a selfie on the tram dock!

For a change of pace, take a short 15 minute scenic drive past open ranchland with grazing cows and horses into the historic town of Jackson. Snap some photos beneath the famous elk antler arches on the Town Square, stroll along the old-time wooden boardwalks surrounding the Square, and stop into one of the many art galleries featuring Western art and sculptures from world renowned local artists. Explore the shops filled with unique handicrafts, clothing and gifts, many of them made by wonderfully talented local artisans. Pets are not permitted in any of the Rendezvous Mountain Rentals properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Wyoming does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the RMR office to inquire about options.
