âAmazing place and amazing service from everyone. Rarely do I give anything 5 stars all the way through but this place knocked it out of the park. â
âGenerally a good hotel. The staff were amazing and beyond, so friendly, welcoming, helpful, hospitality personified. Rooms very clean, if a bit dated.
The breakfast, however, was terrible. Nothing but ultra-high processed foods, high in sugar, salt and trans fats. What little fruit was available was not fresh. Breakfast was also served on paper plates with disposable plastic cutlery. Disappointing. â
âGood value for the bucks, especially if you want to do Brooklyn - which is nice and less hysterical than Manhattan.
Just around the hotel the area seems a little sketchy - but we walked to the hotel even at dark with no problem. And across the big road itâs nice neighborhoods and streets. You can walk along Smith street or along the water promenade.

âClean big room. Small kitchen but more than enough for us. There was a big shared kitchen as well on the 23rd floor. Nice roof terrace on 7th floor with view over the river.â
âThe Tru in Brooklyn was a good choice for our stay. It was a relatively short drive to get to JFK for our departing flight. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice start for our long day. Thereâs a bbq restaurant on the street behind the hotel, which we enjoyed very much.â

Rent och fint. Lite sen stÀdning pÄ dagen.
Ligger bra nÀra tunnelbana.
Bode högt upp men hörde ÀndÄ trafiken lite men inget som störde. Lite dÄligt ljudisolering mellan rummen.
Men mycket nöjda överlag med boendet och kan tĂ€nka oss att bo dĂ€r igen. Rekommenderar! â
âThe way they treat their guests are amazing to go above and beyond I want to give a shout out to Ben and Ollie as well as all the rest of the staff I've been nothing but amazing wonderful people. I would highly recommend seeing here it's my new personal safe haven. If you're looking to stay somewhere nice in New York and affordable! This is a place to do it!â

FrÄn gatan hörde man trafiken oerhört tydligt. Isoleringen frÄn fönstren upplevs nÀstan som obefintlig.
Dessutom gick vĂ€rmeaggregatet/AC igĂ„ng imellanĂ„t, extremt högljudt. Ăven ljudet frĂ„n korridoren gick rakt igenom rummet, inte konstigt med tanke pĂ„ en stor springa under dörren.
Jag fick dock byta upp mig till ett king size rum mot innergĂ„rden. Det var mycket tystare, sĂ„ kunde jag sova ostört.â
âTrevlig personal och frĂ€scha rum. Lite mĂ€rklig design av duschhörna som gör utrymmet framför handfatet lite trĂ„ngt. Enkel enahanda frukost bestĂ„ende av Ă€ggröra., bröd, kaffe jordnötssmör, nĂ„gon proteinkĂ€lla typ nuggets. Men man stĂ„r sig pĂ„ den fram till lunch. Mycket lugnt omrĂ„de med polisstation bredvid och nĂ€ra till tunnelbanan som tar 30 - 40 minuter in till manhattan. Sköna sĂ€ngar. Men lĂ€get och comforten i förhĂ„llande till priset gör hotellet till ett bra val.â

Hotellet hade fÄtt en stjÀrna till om det inte var för hissarna. Tog en evighet att Äka upp och ner , man fÄr vÀnta jÀttelÀnge. Alldeles för fÄ hissar till antalet vÄningar och rum. "
