The Space:
Step into our beautifully designed nautical-themed home, featuring 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with a full-over-twin bunk bed. High-quality bed linens, air conditioning, and heating ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and all the cookware and dishes you'll need to whip up a delicious meal.

The spacious and inviting living room is equipped with a smart TV, and wireless internet for your entertainment needs. The indoor fireplace adds a cozy touch for cooler evenings.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive use of this single-family beach house, including private access to the entire property and its luxurious amenities, such as the heated pool, outdoor fireplace, Traeger BBQ grill, and beautifully landscaped backyard.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is ideally situated just 2.5 blocks from the breathtaking Windansea Beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or taking in picturesque sunsets. Downtown La Jolla is a short drive or bike ride away, offering a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Explore nearby attractions such as the La Jolla Cove, Birch Aquarium, and the Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Getting Around:
With easy access to main roads and free parking, you'll have no trouble exploring the best of La Jolla and its surrounding areas. The property is located in a walkable and bike-friendly neighborhood, making it easy to explore on foot or by bicycle. Public transportation and rideshare services are also readily available for your convenience.

Our La Jolla Beach Haven is the perfect destination for a relaxing family vacation or a getaway with friends. The spacious rooms and outdoor area are perfect for spending quality time together. Enjoy alfresco dining in the outdoor dining area, unwind on the teak lounger, or gather around the outdoor fireplace in the comfortable seating area. With high-speed wireless internet, air conditioning, and ample parking, you'll have everything you need for an unforgettable coastal escape. Please note that no parties or events are allowed on the premises, and violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction.

great relaxing spot

We had a fantastic stay! The property has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The highlight is definitely the outdoor area. it features a heated pool, a BBQ, and a cozy firepit, perfect for creating unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this place, especially if you plan to spend at least a day enjoying the pool and outdoor amenities.

An absolutely beautiful home with a great pool. Very close to a fantastic beach. Lots of close restaurants. The home is very clean and welcoming. We had a wonderful week!

Host dropped the ball

We were excited to make a family trip to San Diego and the city did not disappoint! Unfortunately, our La Jolla Nautical Cottage with Heated Pool was not seen in the same light. The house itself is a cozy, rustic cottage set in a neighborhood of La Jolla. It does have a quick walk to the beach and a walking trail behind the house. The Host attentiveness however did disappoint. We chose the Nautical Cottage because it had a pool and was close to the city. Upon check-in we had to report that the driveway gate and pool keypads did not work, and there were ants in one bathroom. We were told to spray the ants with chemical ant spray. That meant the Host was already aware of them. As the week progressed the ants were found in each room, which made the house seem not as clean as we had viewed it initially. As for the pool and gate, the Host asked if we followed the instructions properly. When we reported the pool problems a second time, we finally got a response. Lucky for us, the maintenance man fixed the pool cover issue in minutes - a tripped circuit breaker - and gave us the correct gate numbers! Happily, we were able to use the pool though only for an hour before we had to start packing to leave the next morning. Not the worst 4-night stay (we also camp a lot), but with more effort from the Host the day we checked in, it could have been so much better.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean. Great backyard for relaxing outside. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
