The hotel is centrally well located in Puerto de la Cruz with a lovely view over the ocean. You can easily take a walk to the city since it’s downhill. However, going home is a bit tiring but the kids never complained since we could do stops at several places during our way back to the hotel. Several other hotels in the area but no noise and minimum of local traffic. We didn’t have any problems with the surroundings so our sleep during night went well. We could easily park our rental car either at the hotel parking (free) or in the neighbourhood (free). The room, and the hotel as such, is a bit worn, but we had two double beds, minibar, bathtub and plenty of space for four. Also a nice balcony facing the ocean providing a lovey view. During the entire week we stayed at the hotel, the cleaning of our room was well performed. Some days they seemed to forget to fill up with soap and shampoo, but the towels were changed every day. We had half-board included in our hotel package and could enjoy a good breakfast every morning, including sparkling wine of good quality. In the evenings we had dinner, but please note that beverages are not included in the price. Mostly attentive service from the staff except for two nights when the hotel for some reason was fully jammed with dining guests. Waiting time for just entering the restaurant was more than 20 minutes. Not the best when you have hungry children…
