“Oyo is a good place to stay in the heart of Times Square if you don’t want to spend a fortune. It’s especially good for a single traveler just coming for Broadway shows. The rooms are very tiny (but good for one). The only complaint is the mattress-it feels like a sleeper sofa (a hideaway bed that is thin and noisy.) Otherwise it’s fine if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I would stay here again.”

“The room was clean and in a great location. The apartment is only accessible via staircase. The hosts are responsive and helpful. Thanks!”

“Fantastische Lage direkt in der Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten, alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein, aber warm und einladend.”

“A complete scam. The property is a homeless shelter. Do NOT book yourself here.”

“Pros: Really nice apartment with an unbeatable location near the park and great restaurants. 3 minutes from the 1/2/3. Nice balcony and good wifi, with a little kitchen stocked with cookware essentials. Bathroom is recently renovated and nice. Aside from some linens (see below), the place was very clean. In the one conversation I was able to have with the property manager, he was polite and friendly.Cons: The apartment shown in the listing photos is not the apartment we rented. It was comparable...

“Das OYO Times Square war der perfekte Ort für meine Reise nach New York zum Jahresende. Die Mitarbeiter waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich wünschte wirklich, ich hätte ihnen meine Dankbarkeit dafür ausdrücken können, dass sie meinen kurzen Aufenthalt so angenehm gestaltet haben.”

“The leaking toilet had having to mop up each flush was a bit inconvenient but the rest of the stay was great.”

“New York City hotels can be very cold and indifferent, well, this place Is not, although everything is to the point, no extra frills, the staff is quite warm and very available to solve any situations very quickly. I’ve stayed in many places and almost none compare to the kind and available people who take care of this place and its visitors. Fully recommend, great central location super close to a nice park, restaurants and shops. Book it!”

“I was there in the summer, and it was a little hot. The AC is good you just have to wait about a half hour to feel it working after you turn it on. Also the main lights are from the kitchen and the bathroom, but there is a floor lamp and two windows that help keep things lit. The bathroom was really nice and the water pressure was good. The bed is super comfy and the tv was the perfect size for watching fifa!”

“Gleich nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von einer netten Dame namens Maria empfangen, die sich um unseren Check-in kümmerte. Maria hat sich wirklich sehr bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich und so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Grüßen Sie sie unbedingt, wenn Sie dort sind! Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im OYO Times Square fantastisch! Die Zimmer waren außerdem sehr sauber!”

“The space worked perfectly for 4 adults. The location was excellent to walk to local attractions, food spots and public transportation. The main bedroom was very spacious. We’d definitely stay here again in the future!”

“The host was not responsive to emails. The address was wrong. Check in was late and badly executed. Check out was an hour earlier than listed. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. There was no heat or coffee maker. I’ve written the host about these issues and only received one response, saying check in started at 4:05. Would not recommend at all”

“The place was very clean but felt quite bizarre starting with the door of the apartment which had many coats of black and white paint and papers ripped and sticking here and there. It really looked quite scary. What made the apartment feel bizarre was there was no real living room. It did NOT have a couch or table as in the photo on line. The previous living room and dining room had been turned into a bedroom which had two large (double or queen) beds and the bunk bed (as pictured) with a...

“The booking lists 2 king size beds and that was the reason we chose this location - very disappointed when we checked in and were told there are no king size beds and we were given 2 full size beds. Also, pics of room are very deceiving. It was hard for 2 people to be up and moving in the room at the same time. Will not be back.”

“Clean apartment in a convenient location, close to the subway and walking distance from lots of attractions. My only nits would be that the shower doesn't drain very well and the walls are a little thin but besides that everything was awesome!”

“Communication was excellent. Everything was exactly as advertised. This place was with when walking distance of every place that I needed to visit. I'd rent again in a heartbeat”
