"Patched over leakage, strong smell of something unidentifiable in the room. Pills laying in the coreners of the stairs, overall a hotel which could have been a wonderful magnificent experience. Around 100 years ago. Since then it felt like nothing special had been attended to. The smell, and overall impression of the hotel left much wanting. Sorry to say, for the price we payed and the "three star" rating. This wasn't really what we were expecting. I know the UK standards when it comes to the star rating is really not meeting the expectation of the rest of the world but this was definitely something i underestimated and a new low mark for me. If i were to have traveled with my wife she would have never entered the room due to just the scent. So yeah, the city itself was delightful. The Hotel, left a lot wanting from the price we payed. Especially the weekend rate. That was unbelievable compared to the following mon/tuesday rate. If the entire stay was in the mon/tuesday rate i would have a lot easier to accept the standard of the hotel. Cause then it would have been cheap."

"Vi hade sån tur att denna pärla var tillgänglig! Efter att vår AirBnb-host ghostade oss och vi stod utan boende så hittade min sambo detta boende på hotels.com. Mannen som vi träffade i receptionen var välkomnande och trevlig. Vi fick lite information och nyckelkort samt ett brev med lite mer information och tips och råd. Man kunde även lämna in sina väskor i deras bagagerum både föra incheckning och efter utcheckning om man så ville. Rummet var mysigt och bra storlek för två personer. Vi bodde i nummer 305. Det enda eventuella minuset var att det inte fanns någon duschvägg eller draperi mellan själva duschen och resten av toaletten, det blev lite blött på golvet men inget som vi brydde oss så mycket om. Boendet ligger mycket centralt och med gångavstånd till allt som vi ville se eller göra. Även nära till Liverpool One busshållplats som tog oss både till Anfield och till Manchesters flygplats. Mycket restauranger och barer i området och hotellet ligger vägg i vägg med ett väldigt trevligt italienskt ställe. Nära till shopping var det också, bara en gata bort! När vi skulle checka ut var det dessvärre ingen i receptionen så vi lämnade vårt nyckelkort i en låda på bardisken. Vi hade gärna velat berömma både boendet och personalen! ❤️"

"We stay here every time we are in Liverpool, which is a couple of times a year. Fantastic location, really nice decor, and wonderful staff. We can recommend the rooms with a separate bedroom, which also have both a washing machine and a dryer. On the downside: no lighting above the bathroom mirror. Too few peces of china and glasses. Best accommodation in Liverpool! Love it, love it, love it! "
