Location was awesome, rooms were clean, and communal areas were nice as well!! The parking is a bit weird, and if you park on the street during certain times of night you will get a ticket. Host was excellent at communication and keeping me informed!! Would absolutely stay here again!!

you are sleeping in a pod, read the fine print. Feels very unsecure. you'll be lucky to find your room, it's the equivalent to an Escape house. I had to walk around the back and wander around a room under construction to figure out where's my room. This place is a fire hazard for sure!!

This was my first and last experience with Expedia. I cant say i have ever been more disappointed with a transaction or a company as a whole. Where should I begin? No Front Desk staff, when i arrived I was told to call someone to check in. I felt like I was a baited and switched. They call it "Brimmfield Stay" but it was just somones home they attempted to convert to a hotel with "rooms". While i entered the home this asian lady that spoke very little english said to call the number to check in. I called after several tries and once i did call a man told me to check my email for a confirmation which I never received, i even double checked my junk and spam folder to no avail. He then requested i said a photo of my identification which i sent and after 20 minutes +never heard a response from him despite checking in at the designated timeframe. I was exhausted at this point but while inside this home a domestic dispute was occuring and a male and female were assaulting each other. I wanted to call the police but I decided to just leave before I personally was in harms way. I texted the Brimmfield Stay number to let them know i cancel because of everything leading up to that point. I called Expedia letting them know that I never was able to check in and of the assault in progress and they told me there was nothing i could do. I let them know that i had purchased insurance which would allow me to cancel the reservation at no charge which they did not oblige.

The shower was heavenly, and my room was clean/comfy/very safe. The location was also pretty great. However - the parking situation was awful. I knew that the spaces on the property would be limited but I did not know that there was street cleaning 2am-6am every night. I ended up parking 12min away via walking, which was not ideal coming in late and being very tired. My stay overall was lovely but could have been more relaxing with easier parking.

DO NOT BOOK! This is a mixed dormitory stay which actually wasn’t my issue with the property. It was very secure, each room has door codes. I didn’t expect the room I booked it to be a capsule hotel but I didn’t mind that part. It would be difficult to stay in for light sleepers because of the thin walls. The kitchen and bathrooms are communal but kept very clean. The issue that came up with my stay occurred the morning I left, or tried to leave. If you decide to park in the driveway beware that other guests may be inconsiderate and block you in. The car that blocked me in left a number. I tried to contact the guest who was parked in front of me but they wouldn’t answer then I contacted the owner of the property to help get the car to move but they were also unable to get in contact with them nor were they able to contact the onsite housekeeping staff to have them get through the door codes to contact the guest directly. It took an hour and a half to finally reach the guest to move their car out from blocking mine in. By then I was already late for work and had to take an uber. The worst part was that throughout the entire fiasco the owner had terrible customer service, they even refused to compensate my stay or ubers. I had to contact the guest directly to ask they pay for the ubers I had to take, which thankfully they did. The owners of the property took absolutely no accountability and were obsessed with their reviews rather than the happiness of their guests. Beware !

I’ll be honest based on location, comfort and experience in general. If you are used to staying at Hostels then this might be good for you. But if you’re looking for comfort then keep in mind that the pods are small. But you have privacy. Something that you don’t usually have on shared rooms. I was able to touch the ceiling while I was laying down. I am 6ft and the mattress was enough for me. Comfortable btw. The thing is you listen everyone when they open the door or while they’re trying to climb the ladder to get to their pod. The weekend days I didn’t sleep well but it’s a good deal for the price. If you are thinking to stay here you should have a car. Sometimes the parking gets crowded but I was always able to fit my car in a spot. So if you’re lucky that would not be a problem. I picked Brimfield because I wanted to go to the desert, mountains and the city so the location was central. But if you only want to stay in the city I do not recommend it. You’ll loose time driving and the traffic during the peak hours is a headache. Not a bad place, not the best. But now that I’m getting closer to 30’s 😅 probably hostels are not my thing. Just a personal preference.

We are quite disappointed with our experience here. There is only one bathroom available for several rooms, and insufficient parking space on the premises. We unfortunately received a parking ticket for parking outside. It would be greatly appreciated if the owner could provide temporary parking permits for external parking. Additionally, this establishment does not appear to have a heater.

Absolutely unacceptable – avoid this place I booked a room for three nights, and when I arrived, the room was disgusting and completely unprepared. The bed had dirty sheets, there were wet, used towels scattered around the room, and it was obvious the room had not been cleaned at all before my arrival. There is no front desk and no staff on-site. The only way to contact them is through messages, which is extremely inconvenient. After waiting over an hour for a response, I was finally told I could move to another room temporarily — but with ridiculous conditions. They informed me that I would have to move out at exactly 10:00 AM so they could clean the original room and move back in afterward. I explained that I had an important meeting at 9:00 AM and asked if I could move after 10:00 AM so I wouldn’t have to carry all my luggage to the meeting or miss it altogether. Their response was shocking. I was told that if I was not there at exactly 10:00 AM, the cleaner would remove my belongings, or my only other option was to sleep in the dirty, uncleaned room so my belongings wouldn’t be touched. This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and stressful. No guest should be forced to choose between missing work, having their personal belongings handled by strangers, or staying in a filthy room. The lack of staff, poor communication, and total disregard for guests is alarming. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I arrived around 8pm, got in my capsule room, I could not stand the smell of marihuana and feet, did not even last 20 minutes in the room and decided to leave and I booked another hotel room in the area,, would not recommend it! Don’t waste your money.

Great stay! Cleaner came everyday and despite some guests being less than tidy, the place was always clean to a decent standard. Some guests liked to have the AC running really low constantly, but that’s a reflection of those guests, not the accommodation. I’d happily stay again. Thank you!
