“We were disappointed with this stay! We had expected a stay at a historic plantation and, yes, the old building (where the owner lives and not the guests) is very beautiful and the park surrounding it marvellous but artificial with its Japanese and Monet inspired parts and more like a well-kept "Disney-park". The 21 rooms are situated by itself in bungalows in the far corner of the premises and you have to order golf-carts to get to breakfast (which is in the opposite corner of the garden) or...

“Exzellente Unterkunft. Altes Haus in tadellosem Zustand. Ganz tolle Weihnachtsdeko. Eigner sehr hilfsbereit und einfach in der Kommunikation. Parken auf dem Grundstück ist gratis. Jeden Tag ein anderes Frühstück (tendenziell süß, aber immer originell)!”

“Precious house and wonderful breakfast! We will definitely be back. Only downfall is there is a shared bathroom that I was unaware of but we managed! The Geneva suite was wonderful.”
