“Perfect stay. Location is ideal, walking distance to Akumal or to Yal-Ku, very near a couple of good restaurants. Beach is quiet with easy snorkel access. Third-floor is very nice and private, we rarely heard any other tenants. View is spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the balcony taking in the view. “We were scheduled to check in on Sun. I received a message on Sat evening that there was electrical issues in the condo and that we would not be able to check in until Tues. They did put us in a hotel that was a block away. It was a basic hotel room so definitely a down grade but I did not see the message until Sun morning and didn't really have any other option at that point. “Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Fabulous stay! The condo was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the beach was absolutely gorgeous. The whole area felt safe, peaceful, and friendly, with plenty of convenient parking. We arrived late at night and had a little trouble spotting the ‘Nahil’ sign above the entrance, but we found it. The night guard, Alberto, was incredibly kind and helpful. The only downside to our entire trip had nothing to do with the condo or the area .....

“Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.”

“beautiful home for couple's retreat. Direct view of the ocean thru huge glass doors. I swam laps in the pool every morning. Wonderful tips from the owner on where to eat nearby. "Modernt och rent hotell. Maten Ă€r inte den bĂ€sta, ingen blev sjuk och man hittar alltid nĂ„t att Ă€ta men det Ă€r typisk standard för all inclusive-resort. Är du ute efter att bara slappa och slippa laga mat funkar det, men Ă€r du ute efter mexikanska smaker ska du söka dig nĂ„n annan stans. Det finns inga fĂ€rska juicer och de som finns gĂ„r inte att dricka för de inte smakar bra. Det var ett stort minus. I Mexiko Ă€r personalen alltid trevlig och vĂ€lkomnande, pĂ„ den hĂ€r resorten har det hĂ€nt nĂ„got, jag tror att arbetsgivaren bĂ€r ansvaret, personalen verkade inte trivas vilket speglades i deras bemötande. MĂ„nga sura miner, enbart ett fĂ„tal hade det bemötandet som oftast finns i Mexiko. Jag skulle inte Ă„ka tillbaka, Ă€ven om jag hade en helt okej trevlig semester."
