- Plan to have the desk clerk at the Condo struggle to help you because the Host has not given him any information about your visit… and plan to awkwardly stand there while he tries twice to contact the Host himself, only to get her voice mail. (Btw, the front desk is all too familiar with this Host).
-Plan to have a Host that is ill prepared for your visit and who suggests that YOU (the guest) are being “dramatic” after multiple calls and texts attempting to locate the door key so that you can secure your belongings in the condo — (whoops, they’re not on the premises after all.. but don’t worry, they’ll just “leave them on top of your car.”)
-Oh, also plan for the housekeeper to use the one and only parking space allotted for the condo, so that you can now go back and forth trying to park your car.
Maybe after all that you’ll just decide to leave — which we did. One family, 3 hotel rooms and one missed reservation. Plus hours with Expedia (who was no help) and wasted even more of my time. I’ve asked for my money back since we did not end up staying, but the “Host” has refused. According to her I had everything I needed- except service and the physical keys to lock the door. I guess my expectations were just too high.
