Beautiful Mountains...shabby accommodations... no response from owner
This location is great with easy access to Soldier Hollow Nordic Center, but the resort is showing it's age and our room was shabby at best. The everything in the room was worn out. The coffee maker and valuables safe did not work. Kind of a bummer when you plan to have coffe in the morning. A room that sleeps two with a kitchenette had one plate, one bowl, and no cups of any kind. There were no coffee supplies either.The bed was a nice mattress set, but it was on a platform that made it sit 4 inches higher than my waist when standing. I'm 5'4" tall, so average height for a woman. Anyone with limited mobility would not be able to get in an out if this bed without assistance it's so tall. We were told there would be an access card left for us in the room to be able to access the resort amenities, but there was no access card for us. The owner/manager of the unit texted our check in code for the room door so we could easily access the room and instructed us to contact them on that number with any questions. I let them know we needed the access key and that the coffee pot was not working, but no response was ever given. I would not recommend staying in this unit. Very bad experience.
