NEIGHBORHOOD The district takes its name from Porta Romana, one of the 6 gates of Milan built in the sixteenth century a.c. It is a stone’s throw from the center and is well connected by public transport surface and the Metro M3. It is also reachable by the train station of Milano Porta Romana, which is served by the trains of the S9 (Saronno-Milano-Albairate) line.
