An incredibly serene and beautiful place. We spent more time on the screened-in back porch than we did inside. It was so peaceful. We can only hope to make this an annual trip.

Impromptu Swimming Hole Trip!
The weather has been miserably hot so our family decided to make an impromptu trip looking for swimming holes to cool off! This cabin fit the bill perfectly!!! The kids were swimming in the river the first evening! The next day we went to Blanchard Springs Caverns for a tour and swam in two different swimming holes before returning to swim some more. The next day we spent all day swimming and catching trout at the cabin. We checked out the next day and hit Gunner Pool before heading home. The cabin’s remoteness was perfect for us. It was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill was a bonus. Relaxing on the porch was great, even in the sweltering heat. The kids absolutely loved it and were asking to come back soon and of course, stay longer. Check in and out was easy. I would absolutely recommend this little gem and hopefully we will be back soon.

Perfect Family Vacation
The cabin was perfect for our family vacation with the river and fire pit out back our kids spent all day outside play, fishing, swimming and making s’mores. While it was a 20-30min drive to town it was the perfect location to get away and be disconnected from work and social media. The cabin had all the basics making our stay convenient and easy. Highly recommend!!

Great family getaway
Our family of five enjoyed a quick getaway to this wonderful cabin. The entire property was beautiful and exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The check in process was very easy, the cabin was well stocked, very clean, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed fishing just in back of the cabin, saw wildlife, and also enjoyed some time checking out the shops in Mt. View. We have already recommended this property to several friends and family who saw our pictures. We would definitely enjoy coming back again!

Great cabin. Secluded and quiet.
If you are looking for a relaxing location, this is the place. Cabin was fully stocked with everything you might need. Our location along the river front was perfect for wading and playing in the water as well as fishing.

Great quick trip
Overall a wonderful property. Beautiful views and a great escape from it all. Nestled outside of Mountain View proper it allowed easy access to nearby attractions. The location on the river along with the firepit made for a scenic view. Be prepared for a rocky road arriving ( it was well worth it). The property could use some minor tlc. Slow moving drains in the tub, dead bugs in the light fixtures (not too surprising for how rural the location) and the lofted bed is a bit tilted towards the middle. All of these are minor complaints and did not take away from how fantastic the property was overall!

Peaceful Relaxing Hideaway
Great communication with property owner! Great directions, I can’t say enough good things. We can’t wait to go back, a weekend just wasn’t long enough. The cabin is cozy. The views are amazing. My husband, 13 yr old stepson, and I did not want to leave. Take some groceries, and you won’t even need to go to town. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook. You won’t regret staying here. :)

Great river stay!
We had a great time at the cabin and wish we could have stayed longer! We visited Blanchard Springs Cavern and did some fishing. We loved the fire pit and roasting s’mores. We will be back!

Pictures don’t do it justice, it was great!
Cabin was really fun! the bluff on the other side of the river is absolutely spectacular, the cabin is really nice and super clean. The owner was very responsive and super nice. We had a really great time and definitely will be coming back to this location for sure but we will be bringing our boat next time as the Public boat ramp is only about six minutes from the house up river. The walk to the River is not very far and was easy enough for all of us but an older person or somebody with bad knees would probably struggle with the hill. River was really up when we were there but we still caught fish!

Everything about process was good. Our only complaint was the fireplace didnt work, and cold evenings would have been nice to sit by fire before bed.

Thanks for your feedback -- we're sorry we couldn't get someone out to fix the fireplace while you were there, but it has since been repaired.

Awesome cabin on the White River!!
We absolutely loved staying in this cabin on the river! The view from the screened in back porch was gorgeous and being able to walk right down to the river to fish, walk, skip stones, pick up rocks, watch eagles or just sit and relax was great! The cabin is very spacious and had everything we needed. Yes, the drive from the town to the cabin is not the best, but it is well worth it. The only down side for us is that we didn't stay longer! Next time we will book for more than just a long weekend!

This place is great for fun and relaxing. Fully stocked. It’s a little steep getting up the hill to and from the river but other than that it’s perfect.. The view of the river and the bluff from the back porch is worth the stay. Highly recommended.

A peaceful hidden gem
The place may be hard to find, but the explanations given to access the cabin we’re just perfect. The house has an incredible view on the white river and its bluff. We saw plenty of deers and bald eagles: so great! The house is really comfortable with everything you need. I strongly recommend the place and will definitely come back!

Excellent place to relax
The location was perfect for my group, secluded and quiet. We enjoyed every evening out on the back porch, staring at the beautiful bluff as the sun went down. It was just as beautiful as the picture on the listing. Everyone in my group asked if we could come back here next year. Excellent communication with the owner and super smooth check in. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Family Vacation
This was a great cabin with all necessary amenities. The view was breathtaking! My family and I enjoyed this relaxing long weekend together on the White River. Was just a short drive to Mountain View, AR where we enjoyed a float trip and trout fishing.

The cabin was perfect, we spent a lot of time on the screened porch. The view is amazing. River was very cold but felt good on your feet. It was easier to walk to than other places we’ve stayed. Big plus, the beds were comfy.

Great little cabin
Great place to spend a long weekend. Located right on White River. The other cabins near by but spaced out well, allowing for privacy. Inside the cabin feels very cozy. Only thing we wish the cabin had that we forgot was our smore's poles for the fire pit.
