The apartment itself was nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. It was just a 5 min walk to train station and about a 15 min walk to Marienplatz Winter Markets. Loved everything except the neighborhood which was not good red light district.

Worked for our needs

Our visit was quick and easy. We didn’t stay at the place very long but it was clean, good showers, great host communication and they had excellent ac for the hot summer.

Fine apartment near train station

We only had 2 nights in Munich. This was a basic plain apartment to get to and from the train station. Listing says it can sleep 6, but only has 2 beds, the couch is large enough to sleep on, but no bedding to make it into a bed. We were traveling with 2 teenagers, so they preferred to sleep separately. The kitchen has a motion sensor light in the middle of the apartment, was super annoying for trying to enjoy natural light or the teen who was sleeping on the couch, the sensor would go off when he would roll over in his sleep. Apartment is in a neighborhood with lots of strip clubs and brothels. We felt safe walking to and from our apartment, but not the best with children or to get to the best of Munich. Air conditioning worked well during the summer heat wave. Walls were dirty from hand prints, moving furniture, cheap paint. Large stain on the couch. Pictures online were not the same apartment. It was a fine stay, but nothing we would go back to.

The property was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood has a bit of a shady side to it but we did not have any issues. Not far from central Munich, 10 minute walk. The AC wall mount unit (right bedroom), makes a buzzing noise and gurgling sound every 15 minutes. Made it difficult to sleep.

Great location

The property was in a very easy to access location with lots of food options nearby. There was even a doner place right by the front door. Easy walk to the Octoberfest fairgrounds as well as the old town area. Only downside wash the small smell of cigarette smoke from one of the bathroom vents. Understably this is nothing the host has control over, but it wasn't the best for my allergies.

Munich Apartment

Convenient location if you plan to go to Munich city center. Main train station nearby. Lot of bakery, coffee shops and grocery stores near by. Apartment was modern and clean. Comfortable bedding including pull out couch.

Great stay

We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and updated this apartment is. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the main living area is a quite large living room/dining room combination great for decompressing after a day out. The train station is two blocks away. Restaurants and a grocery store are close by. It is a nice 15 to 20 minute walk to Munich's Old Town. The property manager is responsive and very helpful. We really enjoyed our experience.

Great Oktoberfest Location

Stayed for a few days for Oktoberfest. Very nice apartment only a 5 mins walk from the grounds. Host was very accommodating. If I ever go back I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

We did not stay. The listing says this property has 5 total beds. It only has 3. It was also listed as having a washer and a dryer. There is no dryer. The owner has since changed the listing to remove the dryer. Wonder refusing a refund despite false listing details. This is a scam. Do not book here.

Great property for family vacation

There were many positives about staying at this property. The location was close (10 min walk) to the train station and the meeting point for all of our Viator trips. It is also a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the old town city center with historical sites and shopping. There were six of of staying at the property and the living room was large enough for us to watch a movie or play card games together at night. The property manager was easily reachable by phone and very responsive - my sister wanted a hair dryer and he brought one over right away. The location is near lots of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and drug stores (within a block or two). Overall we were very happy with our stay. The only down sides were that for those sleeping in the fold out bed in the living room the only access to bathrooms was through the bedrooms where others were sleeping. Also, the street noise could be very loud, even at night. If you left the windows cracked for air, it was often too loud to sleep. Those sleeping in the bedrooms weren't bothered by the street noise at all. Also, though the listing said there was a clothes dryer, there was only a washing machine.

Nice but Noisy

I don’t think we would have booked this property had we known that extremely loud construction directly outside of our windows would have begun at 5:30am every day. We went to Munich on holiday for Oktoberfest and we would have liked to sleep in after a long day and night of fun. (It was unbearably loud) We were also told upon arrival that we needed a substantial cash deposit that we were not previously aware of when booking. He had to come back to check the place while we were packing up our things in order to get the cash deposit back. There was also no laundry detergent provided, not even a pod or two and we didn't know where to find some in order to do laundry. Be sure to bring some if you plan on doing a load of laundry! Really nice apartment.. just wish the noise didn't ruin it for us.

Great Place to Stay for Oktoberfest!

We stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends and found the apartment to be clean and suited all of our needs. 15 minute walk from Oktoberfest and near many local landmarks.
