Hidden 20 metres down a side street from a busy & lively main tourist area, this apartment was a haven of peace & charm. It has 1 huge king bedroom with a single, a small single room, plus a futon settee in the lounge. There's no Aircon, but a selection of fans and windows and doors to create a cool flow of air - and we were there in 30 degrees and felt cool when returning to our haven. There's a flight of stairs to climb, with no lift, but we never struggled. The kitchen is useful with a hob kettle - a top requirement for any brit needing a cup of tea - a fridge freezer and a washing machine. The bathroom is clean and has a nice shower to help freshen up before enjoying the delights of Naples.
Next door is a good pizzeria, a fruit and veg shop and a pharmacy, and that's in the 20 metres to the main street. Another 100 metres in either direction there's bars, deliciousness trattorias, mini supermarkets, the subterranean museum entrance, fabulous architecture, street art, churches, etc. Walk down the side streets to enjoy a host of alternative eateries, including a gluten free place.
Access to the city is easy, either a straight (& slow) 30 minute stroll to the main station, or an easy 15 minutes to a metro station.
Dafne is brilliant. We had a series of delays and instead of an in-person introduction to Naples, we got a concise and accurate set of instructions for entry to the apartment. She was always available & flexible to suit our plans. A great find in Naples
