Close to via Toledo straddling the borderline between two sides of this multi-faceted city mingle and melt: on one side the very popular and pedestrianised via Toledo, the main commercial artery, much loved by the Neapolitans for evening strolls, The award winning Toledo Metro station, the funicular, Piazza Plebiscito, the royal palace and the San Carlo theatre alongside a myriad of crowds, banks, offices, shops, street artists; and on the other side the most genuine and the pulsating soul of the city, a picturesque mix of narrow alleys, uphill and downhill slopes, lively restaurants, street art, small shops, the Pignasecca market and the buzzing neighborhoods that offer a glimpse of the real Naples, as lived by its people.

Inspired by the colours of spices, these cozy apartments, tastefully furnished by the architects who run them, lead the visitor on a Mediterranean journey, giving the immediate sensation of strong and intense flavours, in a multifaceted city of millennial essences and culinary delicacies.

Although the location is central, the upper floors are quiet and peaceful with a very impressive view of the Certosa di San Martino and the rooftops of Naples.

Located very centrally in Naples, they offer an ideal location from which to reach, in a few minutes on foot, the main visit or destinations of the city and the most important modes of transport to reach the surroundings and the islands. On one side Spaccanapoli, Piazza del Gesù, San Gregorio Armeno is the street to find nativity scene artisans, Napoli Sotterranea, the Church of San Lorenzo, Naples Cathedral and the Treasure of San Gennaro, the Sansevero Chapel, the Archaeological Museum, and MADRE the new Museum of Contemporary Art. On the other side there are the Teatro San Carlo, Piazza Plebiscito and Beverello Port from where we sail to the islands and beyond.

The award winning Toledo Metro station is also very close at hand.

Short Trip to Napoli

The property is as listed. We rented the whole apartment. Both bedrooms had air conditioning, which was awesome. The windows had thick window shutters that could be opened during the day to let in sunlight, but closed at night to quiet the rooms from the lively evenings outside. The neighborhood is vibrant. It is a six floor walk up, so if you have physical ailments, it might not be right for you. The host was very flexible with check-in, which came in handy due to flight troubles that we experienced. One of the two bathrooms had a very nice rain head shower, which was so nice to use after a long day of sightseeing.

A very enjoyable stay in Naples

Four of us took over the little apartments amongst the roof tops of Naples. We had one each ! They were spacious, very clean, light and airy. The apartments are simply but pleasantly decorated and well equipped. One of the apartments had a roof terrace, where we ate our meals. The accommodation is very well located with a Metro station very near. There is a restaurant just up the road which is justifiably very popular with the locals as it provides good food at very reasonable prices. It is full of fun, music....and noise ! Be aware that, as stated in the information , the apartments are up 5 flights of stone stairs, 72 steps. Luigi was our very helpful contact in Naples and Raffaele helped sorting out the booking and all went without a hitch. To be recommended.
