âAt first it started off rocky. Thought I could check in at 3pm although I told them I would arrive around 5pm. Thatâs on me. Long story short 1st room I got was not serviced got the 2nd room real quick. Overall it gives you a college experience with the bathroom and showers outside the room. I enjoyed it. â
âAnything making sound noise was disturbing. We stayed two nights but our room was too small to stay longer. Some of the staff are friendly, some not so much. Thank you for hosting us.

âWe originally booked a stay at the melrose but ended up getting upgraded to a suite at the hotel next door (The Opera House Hotel) it was really nice and clean and affordable!â
âDominic was very welcoming and gave us a free early check in. The Edge is super close to the A subway line and if you need to be further uptown, this Hotel is a great place to stay. Had a nice gym and lounge area where you could sit and eat or just relax. Convenient location and a different experience staying in the Heights vs Midtown.â
âI stay here every time I visit NY which is a couple times a year. The staff, specifically Jocelyn, is the greatest! So sweet and caring! Really makes the whole experience worth it. This time around, it seemed like there was leaf blowing happening in the mornings around 9 or 10am so that kinda sucked hearing. The location is pretty convenient since itâs near to Bay Plaza. â
âThis place was the best option for this area. I didnât personally like the crowded area but this hotel definitely made up for it. They had everything here. Breakfast, fitness center, first come first serve parking in the back of the hotel, friendly and very helpful and accommodating staff. â

"They did not make up the room even though we had the please clean sign out. The mat felt dirty and there were not towels etc. for all of us (but was provided when we asked for it). "

"Good place to stay for some period of time. Stayed in 14-bed room, but didn't have any inconveniences. The beds have curtains, so it's comfortable to sleep. Make sure you have sleeping mask and earplugs. Bathrooms are warm and clean. The staff is very friendly. There are also a lot of activities to socialize, if you want. Unfortunately didn't have time to participate. The location is good enough, near the 103rd station "1" trains. The area is also walkable."

6 min walk to nice restaurant with breakfast and lunch. Buses close that take you to train and Manhattan.
