“Absolutely wonderful! Willow cottage has everything you need for a break away from home, lovely hosts, quiet setting, a pub a short drive or walk away, a farm shop next door and a local shop and the best Indian restaurant/ takeway only a two minute walk away.”

“Hot tub broke first night and they couldn’t get it working so got £50 refund”

“Perfect location. Beutiful accommodation. Does have a lot of stairs, might be challenging for some. Excellent communication with host. Meet all our needs. ”

“Wonderful trip to Beadnell. Cold outside but the cottage is lovely and warm. The dining room is a suntrap. Well equipped kitchen but local shop has minimal food so Seahouses is the nearest supermarket. 2 minute walk to Harbour Road to look out to sea. Lovely walks straight from the cottage. Good wi-fi connection.”

“An absolute gem. Handy for everything Alnwick and the surrounding areas. Try the chip shop in Seahouses-Lewis’s an incredible fish finger butty and chips 👍🏻👍🏻Bamburgh castle stunning and the beach. And this cottage a super place to base yourself. Comfy sofas and beds and excellent shower 👏No problem parking right outside the gate on the by road which no one really uses.We will definitely be back when our schedule allows. ❤️”

“Fabulous cottage to ‘get away’ from hustle and bustle - so quiet. Within reach of various towns.Hosts are very welcoming and friendly.Definitely recommend this property”

“The cottage was first class, clean, spotless and really comfortable. It offered really easy access to local holiday locations, we loved the wildlife and the lical farm animals”

“We have stayed in many cottages but this by far was probably the best. Beautiful decor throughout, gorgeous setting, a lovely welcome hamper and it was so warm with it's underfloor heating and the so easy to run wood burner topped it off. Excellent in every way. Perfect!”

“A great living space- open plan and spacious, pet friendly floors and secure garden. Often in rental cottages there are a few items in the kitchen- salt and pepper, oil, washing up liquid, but here it is cleaned out, just to be warned. A new bed or mattress needed for the main bedroom, it was very uncomfortable and would deter me for a weeks stay.”

“A very comfy, well set up cottage from where we enjoyed expansive countryside views and pleasant walks, including Hadrian's Wall. A short drive into Hexham where there is much to enjoy. We could not fault the lovely cottage and the beautiful area we found ourselves in. Thoroughly recommend!”

“Beautiful little cottage with stunning views, host was friendly and easy to get in touch with. The space was family/dog friendly and clean with plenty of amenities. The only thing we were hoping for was a washing machine but we were able to do a couple of hand washes whilst we were there. Would recommend and would definitely return!”

“The cottage was lovely and we could really relax. We were able to take advantage of the dark clear skies and lovely walks. Would definitely visit again, the area is beautiful”

“Lovely cosy cottage, perfect for dogs , tiled floor and lots of places to walk. We didn t have time to use the pool or snooker tables , but planning to return Lovely to find a welcome card , hand written from the owners and a bottle of wine .”
