Very convenient to explore the lovely sites of Northumberland, we visited Bamburgh, Beadnell & Seahouses all are just down the road, ideal base for exploring, we loved relaxing in the conservatory and watching the animals in the paddock opposite, we loved the cottage and the area and would love to visit again ”

“Beautiful cottage in the heart of Beadnall just round the corner from our favourite pub The Craster Arms. Lovely cosey cottage with fabulous woodburner perfect after a walk on the nearby beach. Beds very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. Only downside was the shower which had very little power and was therefore disappointing considering everything else in the cottage was quality. Overall a lovely family break”

“Although parking is tricky the facilities at the cottage were fine. It's right opposite two pubs which didn't cause any disruption. On the whole a good place to stay, it's about one minute from the sea.”

“The cottage is lovely. Nice bathroom, good kitchen which is well equipped. Stunning garden. Comfy bed and bed linen. Lovely little extras like wine, tea, coffee and bread which we really appreciated. Just a little remote and far from the coast for us, especially in poor weather. Try the Running Fox at the Plough in Powburn. Excellent food. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Grove Cottage. It was a lovely space to stay in and had everything that we needed. The Welcome Pack was fabulous and such a thoughtful gift when we arrived. ”

“Very nice cottage plenty of room for 6 people and close to all local amenities. Beach is about a 15min walk away but not a problem. Harbour is just at the bottom of the road and plenty of benches to sit and relax. My only issue with all properties on this street/road not just this one is parking. You can literally park one car per property and then still have to ask people to move vehicles to get in and out. Other than that loved our stay.”

“Charming cottage, in a quiet location close to the Roman sites we wanted to visit along Hadrian's Wall. Stylish with comfortable beds and sofas and all we needed for self-catering - even solar garden lights for evening drink in sun. Lovely to be greeted with prosecco, beer and chocolates (thank you!) The position by railroad tracks that you have to call HQ to cross was a bit of a surprise, but we got the hang of it - a mini adventure every day we set out. More remote control and high tech...

“Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.”
