“Wonderful location in Central Salem. Close to what we needed. Great fenced backyard for our service dog. That was certainly a bonus. We had trouble with the heating unit which I'm sure will be addressed by the host. The fireplace was a nice addition but it caused the smoke detector to go off. We did not try the fireplace while the ceiling fan was running as the host suggested. We also found the furniture to be uncomfortable. The host was responsive to our issues.”

"This is one of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. If you’re thinking about staying here I would recommend you to reconsider. Our room hadn’t been cleaned. When we immediately talked to the reception about that they sent some kind of manager who just wiped the kitchen counter. But the crumbles all over the floor and the dirty bath tub wasn’t taken care of. We complained about this lack of cleaning two times after that and all they did was to make the bed, 24 hours after we checked in. "
