Lägenheter i Outer Boroughs

“The apartment had ground level entry with a basement bedroom. The check in was unclear/incomplete. The property also listed a washing machine. When I messaged the host asking where the washing machine was, the host sent a video and instructions with a key code to an entry door on a different floor to access the washer/dryer in a hallway of the main floor. The washer/dryer was coin operated. This is not an amenity. There were no towel hooks or towel rods in the bathrooms. There were only 6...

“Convenient location, friendly and informative host, great amenities, and clean accommodations! This easy access, cozy spot enhanced our already great trip, highly recommended.”

“When my wife and I arrived, we found that the property was not as described in the photos. There is no sofa / sitting area. The trash cans had trash in them, and there was trash on the floor. We were only provided one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper for a 5 night stay. Additionally, upon booking, I received an email to pay directly to a 3rd party company named Belvilla. I contacted Vrbo about the issues above and they were not very helpful. Then I contacted Belvilla and...

“My reservation was canceled the same day. It was a terrible experience”

“The apartment was great. The host checks on you to make sure you have what you need and that things are going well. The host is quick to respond. Its a great place and if you drive there is parking. Its also near other boroughs making travel really easy. I would recommend and visit again.”

“Upon arriving the host contacted us to say the address we thought we were coming to was not the actual address and gave us a different location about a 1/2 mile away. When we arrived at that location the bed sheets had stains, a hole in the bottom sheet, and stained couch. We felt uncomfortable with the address change and condition of bedding, etc. Within 30 minutes we contacted VRBO to ask how to cancel and they said they would contact the host immediately to let him decide. We had some...

“As others have advised the address on the listing is not where you are actually staying. The day of check in the Owner will contact you advising of the different address. It's about 5 mins away for the one listed. Starting 3 days before my stay, I repeatedly asked the owner questions about parking and check in process and didn't get a response until the day of check in. The inside of the property itself is exactly as pictured, modern and clean. I however will never stay at this property again....

“We stayed one night. Description was accurate.”

“LIARS! these people take your money, when you go check in you'll find they aren't the real hosts. and house is already rented long term. NOT A TRUE LISTING!”

“I wasn’t even able to get into the room . I contacted the host after self check in which me and many other people weren’t getting our access code to enter the building. The ones who got the code were leaving because other families were in their room already. One big disaster and and great disappointment to my family who came down to visit.”
