Humblebee Hive är gömd i den bäst bevarade lokala hemligheten; ett litet, prisbelönt samhälle som ligger på Juan de Fucas sund. Mitt mellan Sequim och Port Angeles är hemmet bekvämt beläget bara några minuter från de många aktiviteter och attraktioner som båda städerna har att erbjuda. Njut av vattnets utsikt över sundet och lamporna i Victoria, B. Du delar vår privata strandspår med våra andra gäster på Hunters 'Gate Homes. Det är en gated, fem minuters vandring med några stora steg som inte lätt navigeras av små barn eller oerfarna vandrare. En gång ner till botten kommer du att belönas med en vacker strand där det färska bäckvattnet bildar en lagun som strömmar ut i saltvattenssundet Juan de Fuca. Du kan gå och strandkamma till Dungeness Spit eller ta dig i västlig riktning mot Port Angeles.

Den pittoreska lilla grannbutiken, Agnew Grocer & Feed, ligger bara fem minuters bilresa bort, och erbjuder färska lokala råvaror och ett stort urval vin och andra förfriskningar förutom de grundläggande livsmedelsartiklarna. Sunny Farms Country Store ligger bara tio minuter bort där du hittar ett större utbud av varor inklusive en deli och en färsk fisk- och köttmarknad.

Det finns fyra restauranger alla inom en tio minuters bilresa som alla rekommenderas starkt. Om du vill gå längre bort, erbjuder både Sequim och Port Angeles bara en tjugo minuters bilresa många fler alternativ för shopping och restauranger.

Början av vägen upp till orkanen Ridge och Olympic National Park är en kort tjugo minuters bilresa. Du kan planera längre dagsutflykter till Stilla havet och Hoh Rainforest och återvända efter ditt äventyr till vår lugna, vilsamma, lugna skatt, Humblebee Hive.

Lovely and peaceful stay with views of the beautiful mountains and water looking out to Victoria BC. Close to the Olympic National Park for an amazing Lovers Lane day hike with gorgeous views of Sol Duc Falls.

Had a great stay and loved the little hike down to the beach. Kids loved exploring the shoreline and even saw a family of otters having dinner in the little pond right off the trail. Sunsets were beautiful from the lookout just a minute walk from the house. Deer roamed around the property constantly. Decent location if you plan on exploring the Hurricane Ridge or Lake Crescent area of Olympic NP. It was quite the drive to the Pacific coast and Hoh Rainforest but we knew that going in to this trip. Overall it was a wonderful stay and would recommend.

Property was as described and better. We were there 3 nights, explored Olympic National park area. The house was comfy, clean and decor was charming. The views and access to beach were a treat! Would definitely return here in future. ❤️

Nice quiet house- I love the bee theme! It *is* walking distance to the beach, down a pretty steep trail. You can see the water from the house and there are quiet streets to walk on. Easy drive to restaurants and shopping.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay here! We stayed at 4 of the properties…all were VERY clean. We were right on the beach. Eagles flying above! Nice and quiet and peaceful there. Beds were comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

This place was perfect, clean and well stocked. The hike to the actual beach was rough and not so easy to get to but the lookouts were beautiful with perfect sunsets and the neighborhood deer dropping by for visits.

The place is just as advertised, extremely clean, comfortable, peaceful, and beautiful. Everything was easy. We walked 1-2 minutes to the grassy area nearby to watch the sunset, which is not visible from the unit given the trees. Deer are roaming nearby. Highly recommended, thank you! Some recommendations: nearby B&B lavender farm for free tour, take the shuttle to Hurricane Ridge from Port Angeles, restaurants Sabai Thai in Port Angeles, Alderwood Bistro in Sequim.

Place was easy to find, beautiful view, great location! Cute bee theme Owner was great and easy to work with House has a pack and play- so nice when traveling with littles. No air conditioning- wasn't a deal breaker but coming from Arizona we didnt realize most washinton places dont have a/c

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a sweet spot. Very clean and comfortable. It's a very roomy manufactured home in a quiet little community of homes. Well equipped. We thought the access to the water would be a little easier but once we found the trail to the beach it was fine. If you are looking for a quiet spot near Sequim this place is perfect.

Great location for an Olympic National Park trip. We enjoyed the quiet location and exploring the beach in the evening. Comfortable and very clean home. Really wish there would have been a recycling option at the dumpster.

The property overall was great. We saw deer and bald eagle. Sunset was amazing. Location to Sequim and Port Angles was perfect. The communication with the owner could be easier if a phone number was provided in the check in process as it was with the other properties we have stayed at. When we had a issue with the smoke detector beeping we sent a message at around 5 pm and they did respond after 10 pm. Found the message the next morning. There were a few things that could be replaced such as a few towels and shower curtain liner that would make the property look and feel much cleaner. Over all a great location and property. Would stay again.

This house is very well appointed with plenty of towels and a well stocked kitchen. Good quality pots/pans, nicer dishes, all manner of kitchen gadgets, a cabinet and refrigerator with condiments, spices, olive oil - it felt like a kitchen in a private home rather than in a stripped bare rental. The full size washer and dryer (just like mine!) and plenty of hangers made doing laundry easy. There is an informational binder with lots of information about the house and area which was appreciated. The house is very comfortable and the setting is peaceful and lovely. The bee/honey theme is charming and more thoroughly repeated throughout the house and property than I would have thought possible! We loved the "lawn ornaments" - quite a few deer throughout the neighborhood and often right outside the windows. It is just a bit of a drive to stores/restaurants (10-20 minutes), but that was not an issue for us. The beach and nature trail network above the beach were very pleasant. All in all we had a lovely stay in what felt like a home vs. a sanitzed, impersonal rental. The two suggestions I would make: - 1 small: if you ask guests to use the laundry detergent you provide, an unscented option would be appreciated. - 1 larger: the mattress in the primary bedroom may need to be replaced or at least rotated. My partner (a larger man) and I needed to stay on the edges of the bed or we felt like we were in a hole in the middle. To the owners - thanks for sharing your haven with us!

The unit was not as clean as we would’ve expected. The sofa and beds were well worn. The TV was quite old and not Internet compatible for TV apps. There were stains on the comforter in the second bedroom. We had to wash the dishes in order to use them. The trail to the picnic benches and to the beach was fantastic.

We liked staying here. It had a nice view of the water and sunsets. The house was comfortable. We did run across a couple of problems, though. One barstool was broken and not really usable. We couldn’t get the microwave to work. It kept telling us we had to set the clock first but wouldn’t let us do that. We weren’t able to turn on the light above the stove because of that. Otherwise, everything worked pleasantly and we had a good time.
