“The owner was proactive and contacted me in plenty of time with details such as where to park. The flat has good cooking facilities and a very effective washer/dryer for your clothes. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft for my liking.
This is an excellent base for exploring around Bristol and to the south. If your satnav suggests using Manor Road to approach from the south force it to use wider roads, Manor Rd is more like a Devon lane than a real road!”

“Stayed 1 night of 1-week car vacation in Wales.
+ Nice lady in the reception
+ Clean room
+ Gorgeous view from the garden/restaurant
+ Nice breakfast
- Old house
- Room on 3rd floor - no elevator
- Narrow, hard bed
- No AC - small fan provided
- Shower cabin for small people only
= Decent hotel, but would probably choose another hotel if staying in the area again

“It was a lovely room, nicely decorated and good quality presentation of the room including the tea/coffee facilities in the room, but there were 2 things that let it down. Firstly it was a very cold room, the radiators weren't on in both the bedroom and the bathroom, and the aircon unit in the bedroom, which was also a heater was not that powerful, and also there was no heating in the bathroom, and with the very large porcelain floor tiles in the bathroom, it was freezing!
