Excellent place to stay
This was in a perfect location and we had a wonderful time in Porto. The apartment was great and we walk to great food, shopping and other attractions.

The location and view are very nice. Overall the unit needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. As an example, there is mold on the inside of the sliding shower doors. Also, it generally takes more than one flush to get all the waste out of the toilet.

Perfect location. Breathtaking views of the Duoro
Our first stay in Porto and this apartment was just lovely. It was comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the views and nightlife but felt safe. The extra activities at night did not interrupt our sleep. We found it easy to explore all the areas. The owners were helpful and available for any questions. They left us a beautiful snack and wine upon arrival. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very clean. You must navigate many steps but all of Porto is on hills and steps so you should be prepared. Great hair dryer too. Thank you...Fernando and Olga.

We saved the best for last
We really enjoyed our stay. Due to the poor quality of our phones from the US working we missed attempts from the host to connect with us the day we arrived. However he made a special trip to the apartment to let us in and show us around. Also was very helpful for additional resources while visiting the Porto area. Location is great to be right next to the river and there are many options for meals. A small grocery store is close by

Perfect location
The location of the apartment is outstanding, with big windows facing the river and all the interesting sights on, over and along its banks. It is surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars with most points of interest within close, if hilly, walking proximity. Spectacular on sunny days and good even when the weather is not. If you see any iconic photos of Porto, this apartment building will be in them. The apartment is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, nice living/dining area and two quiet bedrooms away from the riverwalk side. There is a good little food market just around the corner and self-serve laundry nearby. Our helpful host met us at the access point to the neighbourhood to guide us to the apartment and provide useful information. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful Location! You coukd not ask for better!
The view from this location is breathtaking, and communication with the owner was excellent. However, it's important to note that the property is somewhat dated. Guests are required to dispose of all toilet paper in a bin, not the toilet. Unusual smell. Be prepared for a bit of a journey upon arrival: you'll need to walk two blocks carrying your luggage, followed by ascending five flights of stairs, as the location is inaccessible to Ubers. Also, while it was crowded during our winter visit, it's likely even busier in the summer months. We enjoyed it!!

The property was perfect for us with stunning views from the lounge windows over the river. The location of the property could not have been better. The owner collected us from the airport and dropped us off at the end of our stay even though we had an early flight.

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location.
The apartment owned by Olga and Fernando was in a great location, and was tidy and comfortable. It was located in the heart of the Ribeira district overlooking the Douro River activity and the wine caves of Vila Nova de Gaia. We had endless opportunity for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Our hosts were so welcoming and had excellent knowledge of the whole region.

Great Location
This apartment has a location that makes everything you want to do on both sides of the river walkable! Great restaurants, port houses , and wine bars close by. We loved Terra Nova , the oysters with homemade linguine were amazing! Absolutely loved Porto!

Perfect location.
We were met by Olga and she showed us around the property. Fernando was always available to answer our questions. The location is great as it is centrally located and it was really enjoyable to wake up in the morning and seeing the boats going by.

A great place to stay in Porto
Thank you to Fernando and Olga who made our stay in Porto so easy and relaxed! The place was perfect for us and a perfect location! We arranged to be picked up at the airport which made our introduction to Porto seamless! Even though we had such great entertainment right outside our window every day - it was quiet and safe and peaceful for sleeping! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! And Fernando gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our time in Porto which was another bonus - we thank him for that! We needed way more time to do everything! Thank you for a great Porto experience!

Greatest location
This apartment was in the greatest location of Porto. Right by the bridge with lots of night life right below the apartment. Very easy to get to. Apartment was clean and the hosts were great and very flexible about the checkin and checkout.

Agréable séjour mais l'appartement, charmant et bien situé, est très difficile d'accès. Logé sur une rue piétonne, sans accès direct, au 3ème étage, sans aucun ascenseur, avec parking très éloigné. L'annonce devrait le mentionner clairement. La vaisselle et accessoires de cuisine sont insuffisants et il manque des éléments essentiels.

Amazing stay on the river
Olga and Fernando were wonderful hosts and we could not be happier with the apartment, the service, and the welcome. River Front Views
I totally enjoyed our visit to the Ribera. The apartment is quite nice, clean, with ample room for two people (or more). The views from the windows over looking the river and water front are fabulous! Location is perfect with easy access to either side of the river. Building security is great. Our host, Fernando welcomed us with a full bottle of wine and small appetizers. What a way to start a visit in Porto! I would stay here again!

Fantastic location and view
We had a great stay at this apartment in the midst of the Ribeira area of Porto. Couldn't be in a better location. Has a wonderful view of the water, Ponte Luis 1 bridge and all the action going on in the Ribeira area. There is no deck, but you can open the two large windows and sit, watch and listen to the world go by. Close to tons of restaurants, shopping and Porto attractions. Fernando was very accommodating and picked us up from airport for an extra fee, brought us to the apartment and explained everything. A nice welcome gift of red Douro Valley Wine and some crackers, cheese and meats. The sleeping area is quiet and comfortable. The apartment is stocked with all that you could need. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to others.

Excellent location for exploring Porto, fun to watch the boats going by on the river
Five stars for the location - unit is in historic building on the waterfront, nice living room, two bedrooms so my husband and I plus our adult daughter could each have our own room. View of the waterfront from the living room. Crowds of people walking by on the waterfront made for a bit of a noisy living room but the bedrooms are at the back, and we had no trouble sleeping at night. For those coming to Porto for the waterfront restaurants, wine tasting, cable car, and watching people and boats on the river, this is a perfect location. We did our own walking tour from here and saw most of the sights in historic Porto. Our meeting spot for the winery tour we took one day was also a short walk. The host was friendly and responsive. Keep in mind it is a third-floor walkup - not an issue for us but for some people it might be. There is a washer but no dryer, and the host advised us not to use the washer as it had problems, but we found a laundromat walking distance.

Superb location
The location made it easy to get everywhere on both sides of the river. Mornings were especially relaxing because we could have our coffee while enjoying the view! The hosts were great about communicating. Fernando gave me a ride from the airport to the apartment which was very helpful and even a little tour on the way!

Great Location, Comfortable Apartment, Great Host
This is a great location and comfortable apartment. Just be aware that you have to climb approximately 50 stairs to get to the apartment but it's well worth it for the views right along the river. There is a ton of restaurants and live entertainment constantly along the river. The host was very kind and even picked us up at the bus station. He was also very easy to communicate with. Overall we highly recommend this property.

Apartment was spacious and clean had a great view.Good responce from owner.Getting there waa really easy taxi dropped me off at the bridge and owner had walked and made a video for directions to Apartment which made finding it very easy. When i got checked in to Apartment they had left me a.nice bottle of wine and some delicious snacks when was really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. But if you can't do steps this is definitely not the place for you

Wonderful stay. Olga and Fernando are the best!
The apartment is clean and in a perfect location with beautiful views. We also booked a tour to the Douro Valley with Fernando. We had an amazing time. Fernando has so much love and passion for his beautiful country. We not only saw the gorgeous scenery and sampled amazing wines, but we also learned so much about Portuguese history from him. Book your Duoro Valley tour with Fernando and you will be as amazed as my husband and I were.

Fabulous view from our front window of the river and bridge. The waterfront was full of entertainers, restaurants and pop up market stalls. It was a very vibrant atmosphere. Fernando transported us to and from the airport and was most helpful. The apartment was an excellent place to stay!

Excellent location
Stayed here for a weekend visiting Porto…. Wish we could have stayed much longer! The property is located in a perfect area, allowing you to look over the beautiful river and people watch. Property managers were great communicating, and answered our questions while we were at the property. We coordinated with Fernando for a ride to and from the airport and rental, which made everything completely seamless. He had some wonderful recommendations for our stay Photos online perfectly depict the property. There are a couple of sets of stairs to get to the property, so this may be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Everything is well supplied and very clean in the apartment. Location allows an easy walk into town or over the river. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at thus apartment. It is spotless and right in the centre of the city. It has lovely views of the Douro River from the living room window. Fernando was a great host and kindly collected us from the airport. We also paid to do a full day tour which was thoroughly enjoyable.

Cute Portugese style apartment right on the river promenade with fantastic view. Comfortable and quiet man bedroom. Well supplied including a welcoming hors d’oeuvre tray with wine. Local owners are very nice people. Note the Address is not on google or Apple Maps (no cars on it), so look for the archway just to the right of the large outdoor elevator. Cheers

What a pleasure to stay here. Cannot imagine a better location. Very charming place. On the second floor, so we could open up the windows wide and let the sea air blow through. Would stay there again. The owner also gave us a lift to and from the train station, and left a plate of meat and cheese and a bottle of wine in the fridge for us. He went over and above. Thank you Fernando!

Porto Perfection
First, the property was exactly as described. The only surprise was how much more beautiful the view is in person. Fernando and Olga were excellent hosts. We had everything we needed and they were easy to reach during our stay. Fernando even gave us a map that he marked with important locations like the supermarket and nearby restaurants that are particularly good. Our time in Porto was wonderful, in large part because of our perfect place to stay.

Great location and incredible view!!!
The apartment was exactly as listed! The location is incredible right on the river, with so many restaurants and shops near by. It is very close to Luis I bridge. It was super clean, with lots of of closet space. Also, an added bonus is that it is used just for rental so you do not feel like you are intruding because there are owners personal belongings there. The owners are amazing and offer private tours as well. We booked a couple and were totally pleased. Also, we arranged airport pick up and it was perfect. We would certainly stay here again!
