“We loved this meticulously restored to its 1800s splendor--think Haussmann Parisian high ceilings and large French windows--with exquisite Egyptian antiques yet all modern conveniences (en suite bathrooms, air conditioning etc). Atmosphere is completed by being met each morning by elderly woman maitre d' in flawless French. High on 5th floor down a pedestrianized side street, no Cairo traffic noise to disturb you. Walkable to Egyptian Museum and old Cairo but in an Egyptian medium/high...

“Great stay. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Interesting bathroom setup but everything is clean and staff is willing to fix anything shortly after requested. We spent most of our days out of the room so we didn’t mind the size… which was on the smaller size. I would have liked more counter space. But I really must say that we had a great stay. “Room was clean and as advertised. Staff were helpful and courteous. Bear in mind that this is a budget hotel - so there is no coffee or tea bags in the room, nor any cups. These will be provided if asked. It is a great location - good shopping nearby. Because of that there is traffic noise. Overall excellent value. They will provide a shuttle from the airport for a charge.”
