“This trip was a dream come true of all dreams!!!! From the moment we got off the plane at Bora Bora airport, the staff went above and beyond our expectations. The waters of Bora Bora was awe inspiring with crystal clear water and the most beautiful shades of blue. The property is immaculate and looked after with love from the staff, rooms were huge and the views were just magical. The restuarants were all outstanding, but The Lagoon restuarant stood out the most..... but was it a burst of mind...

“The pictures look much better than the reality. The hotel is old and worn out. The service was the most disappointing thing though. I understand the worn out furnitures etc due to the climate and general state of hotels in the area. But the service was poor. Would barely help with restaurant reservations - and when going down to reception to get help, the man working got annoyed I came down for help. He even told me to talk to the restaurant myself and handed me the phone from reception....

“The rooms are located on the inland side of the road, while the reception and amenities are by the sea. I loved the room decorations and design with a 70s style. The bed is comfortable, and there is a daybed as well. The surrounding grounds are lush and beautiful. The hotel has great bikes for rent. If you walk or bike north of the hotel, you can reach abandoned luxury hotels and enjoy views over the mountain. “It is a fantastic place, we had an overwater bungalow with pool and it was amazing. The only thing we didnt like that there was no small dishes to eat during lunch such like an omelette and the cost for a lunch was to expensive. They should have different price levels during the day. We ate at the fine dining and it was marvellous.”

“The property is not doubt incredible. What makes this place is the staff. You can have the most beautiful place but without the staff it's simply a beautiful place. Solenn, the chef, (i can not remember his name and Sumo the boat captain were are what makes this place amazing. Their level of customer service with a caring heart is unbelievable. “If the pictures impress you, seeing the property in person will blow you away. I was still noticing small details in the superior suite after five nights. The location and setup is perfect for relaxing in the room or taking off for activities. Many tour companies and restaurants will pick up from the hotel. The best nearby feature is the food cart at the end of the driveway, which I think is the best restaurant on the island. I would stay there again if we return to Bora Bora.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Village Temanuata! The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and one of our favorite parts was being able to snorkel right off the beach with clear water and amazing marine life nearby. “Tiare met us at the dock when we arrived. We had arranged to rent a car from them for 9000fp/day. She showed us around the town a little bit to point out where to get groceries, where the bank was. Before handing over the keys to the car, we dropped her off at her home a short distance from town. Jackfruit were in season and she had some ripe ones on her property so she gave us one. “We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second of our stay! From snorkeling off the dock, playing cribbage on the deck at sunset, and getting the surprise of a lifetime when a flying fish paid us a visit, soaring out of the water twice in dramatic fashion! And a couple visits by rays as well!!!The rental car from Nir was so convenient, and he and his wife were available to us for all our needs! Phenomenal vacation! I hope we get to do it again...
