Great stay as always! This was our 4th or 5th stay here and won’t stay anywhere else. Perfect distance to the beach and restaurants - We never have to get back in our car once there! Host is always very responsive and easy to work with. We’ll see you next year!

Annual Mission Beach Vacation

This is the second year in row that my family and I have stayed at Luna Azul. It a great location walkable to many restaurants in the Belmont Park area. There is a great patio to enjoy the great costal San Diego weather. Also it very comfortable in the inside with nice costal theme throuh

Fabulous Family Vacation

We love this place, it’s perfectly located next to the beach, it is clean and perfectly laid out for our family. We go for the patio. It’s perfect and has a lot of seating. Annette is a great and very responsive host.

Great location

Very close to beach and MANY restaurants. We were able to walk to dinner each night without having to worry about finding a parking spot. The kids enjoyed the available sand toys and boards.

The Best Family Spot

This was our second time staying at Luna Azul & would pick it every time we visit mission beach! Our family has had the best experience with the location to the beach (2 minute walk) & the bay (10 minutes with littles in tow). The house comes with all the beach equipment you could need for a day by the waves & fully stocked kitchen for when you want to eat in. Super close to neighborhood restaurants & Belmont park for entertainment if you don’t want to drive. Parking spot in the rear is great if you rent a car. House is clean, has all the beach vibes & just feels like a home away from home. In a spot with lots of vacations rentals but on a quiet stretch to the beach. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Annette was very responsive when we had any questions.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Our family enjoys this beachhouse bc of the patio, we love to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The house fits our family and is an easy walk to the beach and a few other things my kids like, like acai bowls, pizza and Belmont. I love that there is a lock on the trashcan so everyone can’t use it, it’s a very busy area. The host is very responsive which is helpful.

Location at it's best!

Staying here was such a great experience. The communication was great, check in was easy and the location was perfect. We didn't drive anywhere. Everything is in walking distance. We'll definitely book again!

Excellent stay

We have stayed at multiple Mission Beach properties. This one was the first one that the listing and reality was the same. Clean property, furnishings were great for our family of 6 (4 children). It was nice having a bed for everyone not just a pullout. Walking in to the welcoming flowers and card was a super sincere and nice touch. Plenty of beach toys, boards, chairs. Well stocked condo from linens, towels to utensils and kitchen supplies. Having a Keurig was very nice. Short easy walk to the beach. I easily came back from beach to make kids lunch and take back out. We walked to Belmont nightly and enjoyed the Christmas decorations.

Cozy apartment for a fun beach getaway

Great apartment with everything needs for a fun Mission Beach trip. Owner was extremely understanding and helpful with change of plans, which we really appreciated, and were happy to have spent fall break with our kids at the beach.

Amazing experience!

We had the best time at Luna azul. Annette was an amazing host (even letting us check in several hours early due to a change in our travel plans!). The house was very clean and stocked with so many things to make the stay more enjoyable (beach toys, beach chairs, sunscreen, full pantry). My five year old daughter was thrilled to discover all the toys stocked in the house as well. The walk to the beach was a few minutes and the location could not have been better. We have family in pacific beach and plan on staying at Luna Azul every time we visit! Wonderful property and host!

Once in a Blue Moon....

Once in a Blue Moon you will find a vacation property so well thought out. Luna Azul is that place and was the perfect spot for a short, family get-together. It is clean and comfortable - with a large kitchen and living room area. The beds are comfy and the rooms have ceiling fans for the rare, warm San Diego day. There is a Keurig machine with Kcups provided (cream and sugar, too) to enjoy your morning on the large, private patio. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, etc. Beach towels and chairs are also provided to use on the super close beach. Fresh flowers and a note were a beautiful touch. The owner is incredibly responsive and kind. We are glad we stayed at Luna Azul and hope to return soon.

Wonderful Beachside Gem

My family and I stayed at Luna Azul for 3 nights and it was even better than the pictures! Its a great location, with a fantastic patio and wonderful accommodations. The owner was incredibly quick to respond and the house had everything we needed and more!

Best Cozy Family Beach House

We had the best time at Annette’s! It is a minutes walk to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment one might need for a family vacation. The bay is a bit further of walk (maybe 10 min) with little ones in tow but still so convenient. The house was clean, cozy & gave all the beach vibes one might want when visiting California. Lots of kitchen amenities for cooking in & bonus parking spot so you don’t have to search for street parking! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
