“I requested non-smoking but it clearly had been smoked in. The room smelled terrible. The bed linen looked used and dirty luckily I travel with my own blankets. The floors looked like they don’t get mopped regularly. The bathroom counter was dirty and had tobacco sprinkled around the sink. “This stay was a total surprise as the hotel was a gem. Great location and rooms and everything worked. The best part of the stay were the staff who were so focused on first class customer service. From the time of check-in to check-out we could not have asked for more. The welcome and conversation were warm and genuine and when we mentioned we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary to receive a bottle of wine unexpectedly was just the best.
