  • Renovated, in Columbia City with lots of light, very clean. 2 Bedroom and 2 Bathrooms with full kitchen. Main floor: Bedroom-queen bed, with full Bath. Upper floor: Bedroom- queen bed, with 3/4 Bath. Common area: 2 sleeper sofas. Laundry onsite. Location: 2 mins walking to buses, Light Rail Airport- Stadium- Downtown Seattle- Northgate mall, good for Games and event downtown. Located in Heart of Columbia City with restaurants, convenience stores, and coffee.

As the previous reviews mention, this home is located very close to the light rail station. This provided us easy access to the entire city of Seattle. The home is clean and comfortable, while the owner is responsive and very accommodating. We would recommend this home for anyone visiting Seattle.

This is a great find in Columbia City that is steps to Link transit. Worked perfectly to see the ball games with a quick 5 stops to T-Mobile park. The place would be perfect for 4 people with the two rooms. We had a family of 6 and the pull out couch is not comfortable compared to the beds. The upstairs room was also hot but the open windows helped to sleep better. The kitchen is great and fully stocked too! The host was awesome with communication right from the get go and the check in was allowed 30 min early and was a breeze. Don’t let the two vacant properties next to the place impact your choice this was a great find in a great location, we felt safe and the area is nice for dining a beer at a brewery and ice cream too! Thanks Nhat!

We had a great stay here! Its an incredibly convenient location, walkable to restaurants and shops as well as the light rail into downtown! The host was incredibly fast to respond to any questions we had and was super friendly!

Close to Light Rail

Great location for quick walk to restaurants and to light rail. Location was great for a weekend with friends to be able to use light rail for concert at T-Mobile.

Cute spot!

This place was perfect for our stay. It’s an old house, but in good shape, and had everything we needed. Loved that there was a dining table with six chairs, a well stocked kitchen with nice pots and pans, and that it was within a five minute walk of the light rail. Would definitely come stay here again!

Great location

Very clean, close to train. Great neighborhood with a lot of variety for restaurants. Lots of Parks and trails to venture out on. Lake Washington was also within walking distance. Everyone had a wonderful trip.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was excellent for transportation by light rail. 4 stops to the Stadium and 4 stops to the airport. Very handy. Lack of restaurants around. Just one coffee shop around the corner. But very happy with our choice.

Amazing Location!

This two-bedroom, two full bath home was less than 5 minutes to the light rail which made it super convenient to get to the airport, the baseball stadium, the ferry and downtown attractions. The owner was very responsive and allowed us to store our luggage in the house before check-in while the cleaners finished up. The home was very comfortable for my husband and me and our son and daughter-in-law.

Close to everything

Easy to find, simple to check-in, and fast communication from the host. Charming old house. Our bunch starting referring to it as “home” when we’d head back from our daily ventures. Great access point to the Light Rail! We were able to check out a Saturday evening farmer’s market in the neighborhood, complete with a band and dancing, and found Columbia City to be a perfect choice for our stay.

The overall cleanliness of the place was not great. We especially did not enjoy the neighborhood, while it was close to transportation, the area was not great. We were woken up every night with people yelling on the streets or loud noises. Overall I do not believe the description of the unit met the expectation.

Great location, good price

Clean. Nothing fancy, but met our needs really well for a work training. Walkable to 2 full service groceries, a handful of bars, probably 10 restaurants, 1-2 music venues and 2 movie theaters. Coworker raved about the Vietnamese food and I saw 3 Ethiopian restaurants. Soul food and Geraldines are great. The upstairs shower & bathroom is small but the first floor bathroom is roomy.

Ease of location is great

Although it turned out to be fine, we had a bit of a rocky start as the property was not guest ready. To his credit, the owner immediately reacted and provided us with clean linens for us to use the first night (we arrived in the evening). The best part about this unit is the proximity to the light rail; it was perfect for airport and sightseeing! Probably the most negative point is that the unit sits between two abandoned/condemned houses. It’s not a very reassuring and welcoming sight.

The lower tenants woke us up fighting and screaming every night we were there. So much so we had to call the police because there was clear physical abuse happening. The fighting went from 12:00 am-3:00 both nights. I recorded the audio. Contacts the police and contacted the property owner. The property owner told me it would be taken care of and promised he would call to discuss the situation. I sent the audio to the owner. Never heard from the owner or the police. Not a safe place to rent.

Lovely Spot in Columbia City

House was as described, except that central air was installed while we were there! Enjoyed staying in Columbia City. The house is very close to light rail, which is convenient to getting to most Seattle attractions, as well as only a few blocks to a grocery store and restaurants. As another guest noted, there isn't sheets for the pull out couch, which would be nice, but we were visiting family so we borrowed some from them. House does have a coffee maker, but no coffee, so we again borrowed some from family. If you don't want to brew your own, Olympia Coffee is about a 4 block walk, so there are options! Another thing to note is that there is construction in the neighborhood. Didn't bother me any, but they did start working pretty early in the morning. Thanks for a great stay! Overall, the house worked well for us. Would stay there again.
