The building's original single-pane windows are protected under historic preservation codes, which means they cannot be replaced with modern, energy-efficient, or noise-reducing windows. The unit sits on the 3rd floor along 5th Ave, which is a busy downtown corridor and home to the Seattle Monorail. You will hear road noise, street activity, and the monorail throughout the day and into the evening, this is not something we can change, and it is not a defect. It is simply the reality of staying in a beautifully preserved historic building in the heart of a living, breathing city. We provide earplugs, and many guests sleep just fine. <<

For the comfort of all guests, Smoking/Vaping or e-Cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside the house or within 20 ft of the premises. Any evidence of smoking will incur an additional violation fee of $1000 to deep clean the property.

We request that you refrain from hosting gatherings or events in our residence. Let's preserve the cleanliness and respect the charm of our lovely home :). No unauthorized guests allowed! Any parties or events not pre-approved will face a flat fee of $1000 in addition to your booking / VRBO fees and possible removal of your or your guests from the property.

You have access to the full studio apartment. The unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building.

Other things to note
- Please note: To access the property, you will need to climb a set of stairs.
Unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building. Also, since the building is in the heart of downtown, please expect some noise. I do provide ear plugs to help with that.

-The washer/dryer does not work, so please don't try to use it. During the winter months, there might be some knocking from the pipes which is normal with steam heat. This is the sound of the pipes expanding as they heat up. I unfortunately can't do anything about it but have provided ear plugs if its get too bothersome at night.

-Any deliveries should not be sent to this address as there is no secure location they are delivered. Please deliver to a local Amazon locker if needed.


Parking - There is no reserved parking but street parking is free from 8pm-8am and free all day Sunday. Use the SpotHero app to find good parking deals nearby.
