Magical stay!
The house was incredibly beautiful and well stocked. We loved all the little details around the house. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. We were even allowed a last minute early check in. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break 2024
We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic - just a short drive to Sedona and hiking trails. The cabin itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the fireplace which kept us warm and cozy on chilly evenings. Overall, this was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

Anniversary weekend

Family Getaway
We had a wonderful visit at the house in the canyon. We cooked, baked, played games, and played in the water. One enjoyable surprise was the community activity at the outdoor chapel next door to the property. What fun! We also went and had breakfast at one of the places that Deborah recommended. It was excellent! Thank you for being available and for allowing us to stay in your canyon retreat.

familiar place
I grew up in Pine Flats and love it up there. The cabin was in a perfect location for me. The deck on the back was great to sit on day or night. We took walks down to the creek and around the area. Lots of activity going on at the community/church center for the 4th of July! So happy that we were able to enjoy time with my grandkids and my daughter. Looking forward to going again.

Charming home in a great location
This place was conveniently located halfway between Flagstaff and Sedona which made it easy to do day trips in either direction. The home itself is as beautiful as the pictures and was nice and clean when we got there. Plenty of cozy places to gather, inside and outside. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, including some pantry items that made cooking more convenient (e.g. cooking spray, pancake syrup). We were a little disappointed that the dressers didn't appear to be all that functional so we left our stuff in our suitcases. Additionally, the handle for adjusting the water temp/flow for the upstairs shower seemed to be missing, but the remaining mechanism still gave us control.

Healing Escape from the City
Deborah’s family cabin is decorated charmingly beautiful. The trees are gorgeous and provide the perfect escape from the city life. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Daily walks and hiking in the little neighborhood was just what the doctor ordered 😊! The beds were comfy and a full kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals at the cabin. We drank the water straight from the tap and it was amazing! Thank you Deborah for another sweet family memory at your cabin!

Beautiful Chaos
The cottage is absolutely wonderful. We went with our 15 month old and 5 year old, which I wouldn't recommend. We struggled with our kiddo just learning to walk and wanting to grab everything off tables. We went march 20th and it was unfortunately very rainy and the road was flooded. Our host was great with reassuring us the cottage was safe from flood and was very generous and let us take the pac n play to Phoenix when we decided to leave Sedona early due to the rain and stay in a hotel. The house has everything you could ever need and I would recommend this place for a beautiful getaway. The views are priceless and Deborah is a very sweet lady.

Amazing!
We had an awesome time. The 20 minute drive from Sedona to the cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed every trip. Once in the cabin, we had everything we needed yo relax, unplug, and enjoy the solitude. What an amazing place to be- perfect home base to explore Sedona.

Winter Anniversary Getaway
This was a lovely cabin to spend a quiet long February weekend. We especially enjoyed the snow during the day and the fireplace in the evening. Debbie was such a gracious hostess and let us know that due to the weather conditions we may need all-wheel drive/4x4/chains to get into the neighborhood. Location is out of town but close enough for us to enjoy some tasty dining in Sedona. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, quiet, and comfort.

Another great winter getaway!
This was our second time staying at the cabin, and we absolutely loved it once again. We had 5 adults, a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old, and it was a perfect fit for our family to celebrate an early Christmas together. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive, the cabin was well stocked and organized, and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this spot!

This was a great home base located in between Flagstaff and Sedona. The home is located in a secluded area close to trails and lots of stuff to do! My family had a blast! This home is a must stay if you are in the Sedona area!

My family and I completely enjoyed our time in the cabin!! The property was exactly what was advertised in the listing. Do keep in mind, there is no TV though there are tons of videos to watch. There is internet but it is not very strong all of the time, Deborah does mention this - it’s because of the canyon, which makes this a perfect get away from WFH!!! There are cafes that you can go to that have very strong WiFi. Being almost exactly between Flagstaff and Sedona gave us many options for things to do and place to eat (though eating in was great as well bc the kitchen had everything needed).The drive into Sedona just took my breath away every time! Deborah gave the suggestion of visiting Jerome - we were so glad we got to go there; why a treat! We all wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Beautiful Stay
This property was exactly as listed and actually even better than we expected. The lodge sits in a beautiful, wooded canyon location surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It is right between Sedona and Flagstaff which makes it convenient to get to one or the other without too much effort. You will have switchbacks for about the first 3 miles in either direction but the views are very nice. Would highly recommend this rental property!!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location
The location is excellent! Couple hours from the Grand Canyon, 40 min or so from Flagstaff and 20 min or so to the center of Sedona. It sits at a slightly higher elevation than Sedona so we had sunshine and clear skies in town but a bit of snow at the house. The nearby creek made for wonderful afternoon walks. The house is fully stocked with anything you may need; dishes, bedding, etc. I highly recommend this house and look forward to our next visit!

Perfect mountain getaway!
We had an amazing time at this cabin! We stayed with four adults, a 3 year old and a 9 month old and had plenty of room for everyone. The cabin was clean, cozy and the perfect vibe for our pre-Christmas getaway. We made great use of the amazing natural fireplace throughout our entire stay. The neighborhood provided a great little route for walks with the little ones, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose this cabin for our family vacation. The owners/property manager were very communicative and helpful in providing all of the information and extras we needed to make our trip a success. We will definitely will be returning in the future!

Fantastic Family Retreat
The cabin location, decor and setting were just perfect for our family. Age ranges 5,6,10,12,40 & 68 were all satisfied with what they wanted to do. Owners were easy to deal with and accommodating. Not one complaint for this fantastic find!

Awesome Cabin in the Woods
6 of us stayed in the cabin for the sedona mountain bike festival. We were very happy with the accommodations and the property . It was about a 20 minute drive to the festival and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

This canyon home in the Sedona woods was perfect for our family. Gracious, responsive owner included everything for our stay including excellent driving directions, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and living spaces, outdoor deck paradise with gas grill - even a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Only comment for improvement would be to add extra lighting and carpeting to circular staircase (slippery).

Perfect Retreat
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Windy Rock Lodge. The autumn weather was beautiful (we experienced sunshine, rain, and even snow, and of course, wind!). The drive to the cabin is gorgeous (along scenic route 89A) and is nestled about half-way between Flagstaff and Sedona. We preferred to go into Flagstaff for our groceries as the tourist traffic through Sedona was CRAZY! The cabin was very clean and cozy (aside from a very large amount of sweat bees flying about the entire cabin). We enjoyed a fire in the very large fireplace nearly every day. The Wi-fi was nearly non-existent but we actually enjoyed the tech detox while staying there. My husband and I both read from the variety of books there as well as one brought from home (which I left for the next guest to enjoy). We would recommend this retreat to anyone wanting to enjoy nature, and to just ‘get away from it all’. It gave us a much needed refresh from the many stresses of the past year an a half. Deb was easy to communicate with (we only needed to know how to get in and the rest was a breeze) and was pleasant and kind. Thank you, Deb!

Oak Creek delight
The cabin, nestled in the upper reaches of Oak Creek, provided a great home base for our sibling reunion (4). We enjoyed the outside deck- including the grill - and the comfortable, open space living room/dining room/kitchen provided a perfect setting for cooking together, ongoing conversation, and birthday celebrations. The cabin is as described on site. The house, near to the West Fork hike trailhead , provides an entry point for area creek hikes and neighborhood walks through the Pine Flat. The owners checked in, via email, during our stay and provided all the information needed to find and enjoy the cabin.

Great rustic cabin in Oak Creek Canyon!
We enjoyed our stay @ this cute cabin. Beautiful views out the windows in the great room. Nice little neighborhood in Oak Creek Canyon to go for a short walk, and close enough to Oak Creek to fish. My teenagers loved it & caught a couple of trout! We also enjoyed grilling out dinner one evening on their back patio. Their cabin has everything you need to make a nice meal. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay! Thank you for sharing your very special place with others!

A perfect getaway to relax!
The Windy Rock Lodge was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Located in between the Grand Canyon and Sedona, we were able to enjoy beautiful hikes and mountain streams! The rustic accommodations were so cozy and comfortable that my family felt like they were at home! I highly recommend this place…we will be back!

Great getaway

Cabin in the woods near Sedona
I’ll start by saying that Deborah was a wonderful host and was quick to respond and help when any issues came up. We rented the cabin for 1 month…the location is wonderful and magical. The cabin was very cute and cozy however, the cleanliness was not up to par for us to be honest…The floors, fireplace, light fixtures and fans and curtains all needed to be cleaned …it seemed like they had not been cleaned for a while…also,the queen bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable…it was quite firm with a dirty foam topping which trapped a lot of heat. The fixtures for the sink and tub in the master bathroom were very uncomfortable to use. Separate hot and cold faucets for the tub…and spraying water in the sink…Also was difficult without a second shower in the master bathroom. The cabin also needs to have regular pest control treatments done. We had a lot of ants in the upstairs shower. I loved the wood floors and rustic feel of the cabin but it needs some work.

Had a lovely time at this cabin. It was close to Sedona and also Flagstaff, Jerome and Grand Canyon. Very quiet and peaceful. There were only 4 of us but plenty of room. Lovely place and we had a great vacation!!

Quaint cozy cabin
Hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and extremely responsive. The cabin itself is in a quaint neighborhood that’s very safe and a little more isolated from town. Expect a solid 25-30 minute drive into town if there’s any traffic, but it’s not bad earlier in the morning or later in the day. The cabin was clean and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, and the living room was a gorgeous place to wind down at the end of a long day. The only thing we would suggest is improving the lighting situation in the house. It was very dark at times and the lamps didn’t provide quite enough light. That being said it was still a nice home and we were grateful to have to stayed there.

Highly Recommend
This was one of the nicest rentals I stayed at through VRBO. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated, the owner was super nice and would respond immediately when I contacted her and the location was very good.

Lovely stay in the canyon!
We had a wonderful stay at Deborah's home, and really appreciated her clear and quick communication leading up to and during the stay. The property is in the canyon, about 20 minutes from Sedona. We enjoyed the change of scenery and the variety of outdoor options near the property and in Sedona itself. The only notable downside was the wifi connection - it was very slow, and all 4 adults were not able to use it at the same time. Without a cellular signal at the property, this made it difficult to research and plan while we were there. Otherwise, everything was great!

Cozy Cabin Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We had three adults and two kids, the kids thought the bunk beds were so cool and the house was great for playing hide and seek :) Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with great water pressure/hot water, and well-stocked kitchen were appreciated. Important to note (which we knew ahead but just to make people aware) the cell phone service and WiFi is very spotty which is typical for this area. There were tons of DVDs and games, and the perfect deck and backyard. The owners were very kind and accessible throughout our stay! We will come back.

Oak Creek Canyon Cabin Adventure
Had the privilege of enjoying 4 days with family at Oak Creek Canyon Cabin last week from Monday thru Thursday. We arrived Monday afternoon traveling from Phoenix and git to experience a taste of Old Man Winter that first evening with temperatures dropping down to 21 degrees. Thankfully there was a great fireplace to enjoy comfortable in the Great Room. Cabin was very spacious with large glass wall on one side to feel like you were in the middle of the woods and away from the concrete jungle of the big city. The large kitchen area was put to good use for morning breakfast and dinner time meals. The cabin location was close to West Fork Trail and the Fall Colors of Autumn were a sight to behold. Deborah was very accommodating and answered all our questions and surprised me with a Birthday Gift Bottle of Wine which we enjoyed with cheese and crackers playing cards. We would definitely recommend this enchanting cabin to one and all. Thank you again Deborah for share your cabin with us !!!

Perfect Getaway
Beautifully appointed cabin with stunning canyon views and lots of amenities. Great location, next to the creek and close to many great hikes. Perfectly located halfway between Sedona and Flagstaff. We went with three little ones who all had a fantastic time exploring and playing outdoors. The owners are very responsive and helpful and gave us a nice welcome. Hallmark Cabin
Perfect, picturesque, lovely property which our family called, “The Hallmark cabin.” hidden in oak creek close to private hikes. Spacious for a family gathering, yet cozy for connecting. Love the owner and working with her made our stay feel So welcoming. Cabin is filled with amenities, and beautifully handcrafted,. the owner built around logs inside preserving the natural surroundings. To the side of the property is a gathering area lit up among the oaks and pine trees. Our family played games here, however, we learned that many special meals were served there for the owners family. We especially loved the upstairs movie area; great for watching the multiple DVD’s they offer. We strung lights around the banister to celebrate a birthday during our stay. If you’re looking for a hidden cabin, filled with amenities, and views, book with Deborah!! You won’t be sorry! I hated to leave her special place.
