Great Stay, Perfect Location!

This was the perfect place for our group of adults and kids. The location is within walking distance to everything, and would be perfect in the wintertime for access to the slopes. The kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms were fully stocked with towels and shampoo/soap. Only issue we found was the bunk bed felt unstable and I would not have been comfortable putting someone up there to sleep. Thankfully we brought a travel bed for our toddler, so it wasn't an issue. If you are planning on a large group, I wouldn't count that in as a sleeping surface and bring an air mattress for the room instead.

Average at Best - Needs some TLC.

There were several issues at the property; we reported them all to the property manager as we discovered them. The property manager was kind in responses, but only one issue was addressed (kindof) during our stay. Furniture needs replaced; very worn. Lighting is VERY DIM; the bulbs used are the CFL ones and they simply aren't adequate. Mattress in the smaller bedroom is very worn; dips down in the middle. The bunk bed wobbles so much we were concerned about it falling with people in it. The "sofa bed" is really a small futon that would sleep a child, but not an adult. On the upside...kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels.

Perfect Place for a Ski Getaway!

This property was perfect! It was exactly as described and was actually bigger inside than I expected. The pictures really don’t do it justice. We had 4 adults and a teenager and had plenty of space. Everything we needed was there. Pots, pans, silverware, coffee, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, etc! The location was amazing. You are right on the slopes and the lockers that you have are perfect. On the 1st floor and as soon as you get your gear on, you walk out the back door and are on the slopes. It was great and we are definitely spoiled now! We definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay again!

Great views and location

Family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights. Location is great! Amazing view of Skidder slope/lift & skiers coming off the Ballhooter lift. Kitchen was tiny but mighty! Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, cups, glasses, plates & bowls. Coffee maker. Owners provided filters, & coffee in storage closet. Nice spice rack in kitchen with just about every spice you'd need. Pods for dishwasher, dish soap & hand soap. Paper towels, dish cloths & towels also available. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash mounted in showers. Owners provided dark washcloths for guests that needed to wash off make-up. Very nice! Toilet paper in every bathroom, but I recommend bringing a couple of extra rolls, just in case. Sleeper sofa sleeps 2 and linens are provided and extra blankest and pillows in the unit. Loft bed can sleep 2 small children, and the futon can sleep 1 child, but not an adult. In just a few minutes you can be at Foxfire, Cheat Mountain, The Junction or Sunset Cantina. Check the hours before you go & don't be surprised if they have run out of menu items and close early. If your key card is deactivated by mistake, you will need to walk to Allegheny w/key cards to have them activated. The owner does not have control over this and can't do this over the phone with Snowshoe Mountain. Must go in person. Owner was very responsive and replied to all of my messages within minutes! There is a Dollar General 12 minutes away, near the Ski Barn for anything you may have forgotten. :)

Had a blast!!

We took our 17 year old son and four of his friends skiing for a long weekend and we had an awesome stay! The unit worked out perfectly and the location couldn't be better. The only issues we had were due to Snowshoe management confusion. When we checked in we first tried going to the lodge but were told that we could only check in at Allegheny Springs. Then Snowshoe deactivated our keys a day before we were leaving. We got it all sorted and the owners were VERY responsive. Such a fun trip and would definitely stay again!

Family Ski Trip

The location cant be any better. Lots of small touches like spare toothbrushes and sewing kit if you forgot something thay make it feel like home. The bunkroom sleeping surfaces werent the most comfortable, but okay for kids. Otherwise the hosts reached out when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed, even had extra toilet paper and lightbulbs delivered. Love having laundry in the unit and the ski lockers are very convenient. The unit is clean, well equipped and check in/out is simple. Would definitely reccomend without hesitation.

Location, Location, Location

This property was ideal for my family as we have 3 children and wanted to make it easy to hit the slopes. The equipment rental was in the condo, had access to lockers to store the equipment and literally walked out the door and hit the slopes. The condo was very clean and spacious. As with any condo facility, there were a few hiccups but the owners were quick to respond and attempted to solve any issues we had. The condo's location was also ideal for the village. We were able to walk a couple of minutes and be at the shops and restaurants. Additionally, the transport bus to Silver Creek was within a minute walk from the condo's door. We look forward to returning to Snowshoe.
