“Great experience for a quiet night in. Not much else to do. But if that is what your are looking for highly recommend.”

“Beautiful property, Joyce and Aiden were wonderful hosts. We could tell how much love and care they have for what they do. On top of that, best veggie omelette I’ve ever had during breakfast!”

“Four of us (all adults) stayed here for a week in June/July and it was a very special experience. Stephanie's renovation and design work on the property is impressive, and with the exception of a full-sized oven and laundry facilities, you have everything you need there to be comfortable. “The Castle was everything we expected and more! The rooms were spacious, perfectly decorated and so comfortable! Would highly recommend to friends and family.”

“The place was so unique and beautifully furnished! We were there with our teenage daughters. The place was clean and had all the things we needed. If you’re traveling in the summer- it was very hot, especially in the upstairs room.”

“Very nice lodgings, plenty of room for 10. The town is very small with almost no dining but centrally located, although the ride to Kilkenny, an enjoyable town, got a bit old. Enjoyed the Kells priory and nearby Kings Mill rest -outstanding Italian food. Also really enjoyed Ormond castle and Cahir castle”

“We were a family of thirteen, ages 8 to 77, staying at Lisheen Castle. There was something for everyone, reading in the sunroom, walking the grounds, the game room, or the tennis/basketball court.”

“This is a once in a lifetime experience. Make sure to ask for catered dinner from the two wonderful hosts, Sue and Dave. We were a group of nine golfers, stayed for five nights.”

“Simply amazing! Host and staff were so informative and kind! Definitely stay for the breakfast!”
