“Appalling accommodation. Nothing like the photos or description. The room was dusty, the toilet dirty and the TV didn’t work. I rang the managing agent several times and they passed on messages to the owners but no one responded. I was given the owners number but they wouldn’t answer. We had no TV for our whole 8 night stay. My wife cleaned the toilet, bathroom and kitchen and I dusted the furniture. We were given a partial refund after checking out but do yourself a favour and go somewhere...

“The house was perfect for our group of 7 hikers, with loads of character and high ceilings, and very well set up. It is in a great location, a short stroll from all the restaurants and cafes, yet so peaceful and quiet at night. All 5 bedrooms were spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds and bedside lamps and the 3 bathrooms were well appointed. “The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. “This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive.
