“We did not like anything at all. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. We walked into a weird building in the middle of nowhere with nothing insteresting surrounding the place. The room was very tiny with huge pieces of furniture, very ancient looking and extremely stuffy. In one room, they had jiant bed and cabinet, no use for it at all, and portable shower with no privacy. It was waist of our trip and money.”

“It was cute little place for my husband to have a quick getaway.
The room was dusty though and the appliances were all pretty old.
The bathroom is very outdated and wasn’t the cleanest.
Staff was nice.”

“Loved our weekend stay in the cutest lodge in the cutest mountain town. The staff was great and helpful. The lodge is lovely and a perfect place to get some peace and quiet from the busy city. The only thing I would love to see improved upon was the king mattress in our room. It has lived a good life supporting many travelers and it’s time to send it to mattress heaven. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Idyllwild and this lodge :)”

“This is my second time staying at this beautiful property. I love the Tranquility room, it is spacious, comfortable and on the first level, with direct access to the great deck overlooking their great views. We love that is pet friendly, their kitchen is very well stocked with them providing coffee, creamer, eggs and toast (for you to make, there is no staff at property) for guest use. My biggest and only complaint is the a/c unit, they have an old school window unit and sure wish they would...

“1. Since the room didn't have Air Conditioning (which I was aware of) I opened the windows to allow fresh air in. Unfortunately the occupants directly accross had loud music, and were working on their truck until late night. If you're a light sleeper this place is not for you.
2. I would go back to eat at the Country Kitchen which is directly below the rooms. The food and staff were great. I'll never stay at the Country Lodge again.
3. No cable TV. Their was a Roku streaming device. WiFi was...
