Great location
2nd time visiting, only a few mikes from our daughter's house. Wonderful location on the lake, very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival there where lots of flys in the house, may be due to the screen on the sliding door that has taped up rips. All thru the week we battled with bugs in the house. The dishwasher was full of dishes. There is a problem with the smell of the water or the backup of sewer gas. Not quite sure which one but not very pleasant to get washed in or take a shower in. Neighbors house is very close and the fire pit is almost on the property line, also they are very nice people you feel like you infringe on their privacy. My wife and I been going to different properties in Maine the last 15 years and this was one of the most disappointing places we stayed at for the money we payed.

I am sorry to hear you were so disappointed with your stay. I have had no problems with guests being unhappy in all of the years I have been renting. If I had been aware of some of your issues I may have been able to rectify them. Bugs are always around in the summer especially around the lake. As for the screen door i end up replacing that almost every year since guests come with their children. I more than made it clear in welcoming you that you could reach out at any time with questions or concerns which you did not do. The home is the last one on a dead end road with plenty of privacy. The neighbors are year rounders who work and are rarely around but are welcoming to anyone who stays. Again, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

Perfect little house
We stayed here for a summer get-away. Proximity to the lake could not have been more amazing- we fully enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. The house was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, great grill. Also being 4 minutes from Hannaford made shopping and cooking a breeze. We also enjoyed the local ice cream shop daily!

Week on 3 mile pond
I traveled with my 3 kids and pets, and the house itself was wonderful with all the amenities you could want. We did a couple of day trips to Belfast & Camden which are within an hour of the house. We also did a couple of day trip hikes that were nearby as well. Hannaford is 5 minutes away which is so convenient. The neighbor Dennis was very nice but I was not anticipating the houses to be so close. Overall great time with family and friends.

Another Great Week!
This was our second time staying here. Once again, it did not disappoint. Our family had a wonderful week. Even with a day of rain, we found things to do in the surrounding town. The lake is wonderful for kids and the house is just comfortable and clean. Thanks so much for sharing this space!

Amazing stay at the lake
The place is clean, big enough to for everyone (we were 6) to have their space. The location amazing. We went on and in the lake everyday, kayaking was very nice, and dinner on the patio with the view. Jeanne is a very sweet and she made sure everything was perfect for us. Will be back for sure!

Relaxing Stay
We had a wonderful stay! The pond is beautiful! The home was exactly as described. Great location. We volunteered at the Maine Quilt show so when we returned to the house it was very relaxing to enjoy the peace and quiet, sitting on the deck watching the ducks and loons. The owner was extremely responsive about inquiries. And went out of her way to help return forgotten items. Would definitely stay again. C.F

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful week at Jeanne's home. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. All of the amenities made for an easy week (well-equipped kitchen, laundry, linens, AC and fans, gas grill). The lake was perfect for our kayaks and paddleboard, and the weather was the best we've had all summer!

Lots of rooms
This house is unique. I’m still not sure if I saw all the rooms. The basement is huge good size bedrooms and open concept from kitchen to dining.

Family fishing trip
We had a wonderful time a this cozy lakeside home. Had everything we could have needed. The fishing was fantastic and my kids loved the pedal boat. Watershoes were good to have for getting in and out of the boats. Would definitely stay again!

Easy comfortable getaway
The was a perfect place for family to gather for a graduation. Everything was as expected and the house was very well-equipped for cooking and hanging out. Wish the weather had been better because the lake access is terrific. Jeanne was responsive and prompt in all her communications. We’d definitely come here again if visiting this area.

A cozy lake house
This is a quiet little lake house and was perfect for our family to gather for Christmas. The owner Jeanne was very nice and accommodating, despite our stay being unfortunately cut short due to inclement weather and an associated untitle outage. We’ll definitely be keeping her lake house in mind for any future visits to the area. Mahalo Jeanne for your hospitality and understanding!

Exceptional property lakeside
A wonderful home right on the lake with stunning views. Very well maintained with every possible convenience. We went for our daughters wedding which was held at their new home a few miles away. We will rent this exceptional property when we visit. Home away from home. We did not have time to use the canoes on this trip. Highly recommend.

Lovely home and host
Absolutely loved staying at this property. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is nice, the lake view and access were great. We had a ball kayaking and paddle boating on the nice days and enjoyed the rainy days inside playing games and watching movies, cooking in the lovely kitchen. If you enjoy antiquing, there are some great shops nearby as well. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful Week!
We had a wonderful week at the lake! The house was clean and perfect for us and our three kids. The lake stays shallow for a nice distance which we loved with our littlest being only 19 months old. Jeanne was a pleasure and was so responsive to all our questions and inquiries. Great location - anything you need is 10-25 minutes away. We will definitely look into coming back next year!

Great time at 3 mile pond
My Family and I has a great time at the property. Even though the weather was very hot we had grand time. Swimming, boating and floating kept us plenty cool. Also the home has AC. There is everything you might need at the property. The kitchen has all the spices, utensils and pots and pans that you could ever need to prepare your dinners. Will be back for sure. Brian R

A great time was had by all!
We all had a great time. We spent most of our days either in or on the water. We enjoyed grilling out on the deck overlooking the lake. On the day it rained, we gathered in the living room to play games. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us.

Great time!

Little piece of Heaven
Our stay was truly enjoyable aside from the unusually cool June weather. We weren’t able to utilize the lake like we had hoped because of the blustery conditions until the end of our trip. It was hard leaving that morning. The area is very quiet and clean. The lake is stocked for some good fishing (which we released). The kayaks were an added bonus. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for making meals. Communication with host was easy and fast - had a few hiccups but nothing worth mentioning. We love the area so much we looked at purchasing property.

Comfortable and cozy, perfect for birdwatching!
Great spot to relax and spend time with family. Everything you need to cook, play games, fish and spend time on the beautiful lake. We saw many birds and waterfowl, the loons are our favorite! Very clean and fit the 6 of us perfectly, the 1/2 bath in the laundry room was really helpful. Bonus was 5 antiques stores within one mile of the house! Jeanne was a great host, very helpful and responsive, would highly recommend!

Home Away From Home

Great stay on the lake
The house sits on the lake near a reeded cove that has no homes on the left, so you have better than average privacy. Apple trees brought deer close a couple nights and early morning. Neighbors were friendly. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and spices. Great space for cooking on a top of the line gas stove. Lots of plates glasses and bowls. The passageway to downstairs and upstairs is a bit narrow and without handrails. The upstairs bedroom is very large, but the ceiling is low. The 3 TVS that we saw are good size and worked well. The internet was very good. The owner was very pleasant and made sure we were happy.

Family relaxation
We had a great get together at Jeanne's lake house! The kitchen was well equipt for cooking family meals while looking out at the sunset over the lake. We had the perfect amount of kayaks, canoes and paddle boats for 5 adults and a 2 year old. Enough rooms/bedrooms to space out too.

Relaxing home away from home
The entire process from booking to communication with Jeanne was excellent. The home was lovely and comfy. We loved the lake view and my boys enjoyed the canoe. We recommend this lovely property to enjoy with family and friends.

Great house right on the lake -
We spent a wonderful two weeks here - the house is very well appointed and has everything we needed, including kayak, canoe, and pedal boat. Deck is perfect location to just sit and look out at the lake and listen to the loons. Lots of trails and hikes nearby with no one on them - Augusta/ Hallowell is nearby for dining out if you feel like it. We had a few hiccups but Jeanne was right there to respond. All in all, a great place to be in August!

Spectacular lakeside retreat!
The views of the lake are amazing! Steps to the water! I can’t stress how clean, well maintained and beautiful this property is. Jeanne was so sweet and responsive to all our questions. The space was perfect! My girls and I can’t wait to book a return stay next year!

Family getaway
We had a great time! The property was true to the pictures posted, the house clean, and the location perfect. Right in the water, and very close to gas station, ice cream, and grocery store! The owner was wonderful, and communication was great. Definitely happy with this experience.

Lovely stay in paradise!!
My family and I had the fortune of finding Jeanne’s lovely home for a partial week’s vacation. We loved the home the moment we stepped in. We savored the quiet, peaceful and tranquil setting. We spent most of our time outdoors swimming, kayaking and eating meals on the deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed talking around the campfire at night. The scenery was just beautiful and we loved how the pond (the size of a lake!) changed with the time of day, sun and clouds, etc. We had no desire to go anywhere. The home had plenty of space for us to spread out and do our own activities as well. The one trip we did make was to the Hannaford’s grocery store less than 3 miles away, which was so convenient! Jeanne’s home was completely stocked with every kind of spice and condiment and we enjoyed cooking and serving our meals with her many pots, pans and dishes. There were an abundance of towels, bed linens, blankets, soaps and other necessities. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. Jeanne was immediately responsive to a few questions before our trip and to a couple of questions we had once we arrived. It was a wonderful experience and vacation!
