"This was probably one of the top 3 hotels I've ever stayed at. Stunning views, friendly and service-minded staff, clean comfortable room, really good food and drinks, easy access to pools and beach. Me and wifey could not find one negative aspect. (we weren't looking to find one but still ususally something pops up ;))"

"First of all, there is not 13 restaurants to choose from, there are only 1 for breakfast and lunch if you have kids. The hotel is so far from a 5-star establishment both in service, people skills and staff. The hotel is in big need of renovation and the bathroom smell funky like they have mold or something. The food was not good at any of the restaurants actually. They have a big problem with cats, coaties and racoons. The coaties and racoons jump up on the tables and steal food. They stole my wife´s food twice so we hade to leave because our 2,5 year old son got scared. No wonder when daddy had to stand up and try to shush the animals away from the table. The manager took a meeting and the only thing they did was to apologize. I didn´t expect more anyway since I´ve had more troubles at this one hotel than the other 100 I´ve been to through the years in total. Their concierge or team of adventure recommended us to go to Xcaret park. Not only was the tickets more expensive than if we bought them at the park, we had to stand in line like everybody else to claim our wristbands. And the worst, we asked if our son could go on all excursions and they said yes. But when we arrived, the signs said at least 6 years old... What a waste of 350USD. If you have a friend or family you don´t like, then you should recommend them to go here. Or else, avoid it like the plague. They even talked behind my back when I checked out, but little did they knew that I understand Spanish..."

"Breakfast included, chewy pretoasted white bread with butter and jam, coffee and tasteless icetea Rooms smelled like moist and there were no safety box and no pressure nor any hot water in the shower We complained and were not given the option to change room only that we should wait for thr supervisor who never showed up and still (three weeks ago) havent responded to expedias email about this. To make long story short, we checked in at another hotel."
