This is the only vacation rental we have and really try hard to provide a comfortable retreat for our guests.

We strive for clean and comfy. But this is a first. In over a thousand reservations, no one has ever complained about the age of the house before. The house is about 40 years old and very well maintained with new appliances. We spent and still spend a lot of time and money upgrading it on a continuous basis.

We will check with the cleaner on the cobwebs. The "mandate? that the guest referred to is a reasonable request. It is cooler than we keep our residence and in keeping with the requests for conservation from Southern California Edison.

A translation of the guests comments. Unfortunately, we were only here for one day and it's hard to tear ourselves away from the terrace, now that all the suitcases are in the vehicle. This property offers a fantastic view from practically every room and is furnished in an original and charming way. The equipment is excellent. The only option might be a new coffee machine that works with tabs. We would love to stay!

IF you look at every other review this property has received, you'll see that something is wrong with this one. This guest made a reservation for a very busy Easter weekend way back in February. He was advised of the cancellation policy by VRBO when he made the reservation and VRBO required that we hold the house for him. He changed his mind 3 days before arrival and wanted to cancel. I advised him in writing. that I would let him cancel and refund any money I received if I was able to rent out the place to someone else for that weekend. He declined that and came but was obviously not happy and took it out in this review. The Heater/Air Conditioner work perfectly with a new thermostat installed a couple of months ago when the unit was serviced.

I don't know what bathroom supplies this guest would have liked, the possibilities are endless and it's not possible to anticipate what a guest might like. Also, we do not advertise coffee but we provide it as a courtesy. All the coffee, creamer and sweeteners are above the coffee maker. Hard to miss.
