Villa Nelly is a lovely, one-bedroom basement apartment on a quiet street in the heart of Capitol Hill.

Villa Nelly is a short walk from the U.S. Capitol, super trendy Union Market, Union Station, Eastern Market, and H Street. Guests will also enjoy easy access to public transportation, restaurants, bars, and shopping.

The space
Villa Nelly is a pleasant, one-bedroom, 500-square-foot basement apartment that offers comfortable accommodations for up to three guests . The apartment has a separate entrance and is completely separate from and not connected to the main house (i.e., no interior staircase connects the two units).

For your convenience, the space includes:
* Queen-size bed with a memory foam cooling mattress topper
* Independent guest-controlled cooling and heating
* Separate tankless water heater
* A well-equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop/stove, oven, and microwave, coffee maker, and toaster
* Dining table that seats four persons
* Sofa bed/futon with space for one adult to sleep
* 40-inch television with Netflix and Hulu
* Washer/dryer. (Please note, laundry detergent is not provided.)

Please note that guests might still be able to hear some footsteps from above during the day and early evening. While we are fairly quiet and mindful of our guests' comfort, we cannot prevent all noise from traveling between units.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire basement apartment. Guests (and their vaccinated, non-aggressive four-legged family members) are also welcome to use the front yard seating. (We do kindly ask that pets not relieve themselves in the front yard.)

We are happy to try to accommodate if possible early check ins and late check out requests at no charge.

Villa Nelly is 100 percent smoke-free. Guests are not allowed to smoke or vape in the unit or within 20 feet of the property.
