This secluded gem of a place is situated right below Hwy 28, on the NV side of Lake Tahoe and had clear waters so inviting that I jumped in without thinking.. and got myself wet in the process. Lucky for me we had time for me to dry myself in the sun before heading to Reno =P This picture really didn't do the place much justice due to the overcast skies.. bet it would be lovely on a bright, sunny day! One fine day at Sand Harbour beach #springfun
Just outside of Carson City Nevada with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Off of Old 395
Alpenglow at North Lake Tahoe. Being a regular at Eastern Sierras, I often witness an optical phenomenon called Alpenglow. Lake Tahoe sits 6,000 feet above sea level. That's when you see something beyond the regular reds and oranges of a sunset...#colorful Pink hues and Magenta becomes part of the palette painting the skies.
