“Check-in was very quick. Parking is just behind the hotel in a city car park. Our first room Moreton was awfully small/narrow for two people. We couldn’t leave a suitcase open, because it was impossible to pass. The bed was also old and we were both rolling towards the middle. Luckily for us staff Simon offered us to change room when he heard me complaining of my bad back. Simon upgraded us to Acton Trussel which was totally different. Big and comfortable bed. “We had a great 3 night stay the weekend before Christmas. Breakfast was included in our rate at the adjacent pub and it was fab - all cooked to order plus a continental buffet, and some choices too (full english, sandwiches, avocado and poached egg on toast etc).
Hotel was nice a quiet, plenty of free parking. Beds were just a little bit too hard for us but we had busy days out so we slept well anyway.
Would definitely stay again when visiting the area! ”

“Staff were all courteous and Hotel is really nice. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. Prices very reasonable. My only negative was the size of our double room! It was really only big enough for a single bed and we were very cramped. Bathroom was lovely though.”
