“We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. ”

“Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage.”

“Fabulously equipped property with lovely character and a homely feel. The garden areas were perfect for the children and the added touch of outdoor and indoor games to play kept them occupied whatever the weather. Great base to get out and about exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The pictures don’t do the property justice, it has everything you need and more! The owners live next door; it was lovely to meet them, the welcome treats and flowers set on the kitchen windowsill were a kind and thoughtful...

“We have had a great week. Our first stay at Woodbridge and we really enjoyed being able to leave the car and walk into town for supplies and meals out. Fab walks and trips to various places along the Suffolk coast...Minsmere, Aldeburgh, Thorpness, Orford as well as river walk in Woodbridge. We found the house comfortable, with enough pots and pans etc...for our needs. Upstairs bathroom was a little unusual but it worked! Some proper wine glasses needed.”

“Ideal quiet location with country walks on doorstep. Nice biscuits for arrival with lovely fluffy towels and house facilities needed for our stay. Warm welcome from owner on arrival.With warm evening, I took the opportunity to sit out on patio. The property is a maisonette so some noise from above. But this did not affect our stay. Excellent location for Southwold, Aldeburgh, Framlingham and Woodbridge. Ideal property for our two small dogs. I recommend property if you after are somewhere...
