“We really love this place.”

“1872 Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was easy, and it was very nice being escorted to our room and shown were the amenities were. Breakfast each morning offered a variety of hot and cold options, and staff continually cleaned and refilled. I chose this inn while in town for the Yellowstone 1/2. It was an easy 6/7 min walk to the start line. Would choose this hotel again. ”

“Everything was great except the bed in our room. We had a hard time sleeping because the bed was too soft. We kept rolling into the center. Wife had backache. For the super early birds that's trying to get into the park before 5am, it would be nice if there was some coffee ready in the lobby.”

“Fantastic accommodations and helpful staff. Little details made a huge difference like a smores kit and access to the arcade room at the hotel! Would definitely stay there again.”

“The Cabins were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. We got a bigger one where there were 3 queen size beds. This is a great deal for a family of 4 or more. The cabin was charming! We will be back.”

“Convenient to Yellowstone National Park. Restaurants & groceries within walking distance. Nice pool, hot tub, and fitness center with a couple of great massage chairs. We had room with 3 queen beds, 2 of them in a bunk bed configuration that was way nicer than I was expecting. It gave the upper & lower occupants more of a sense of privacy. We had no trouble with parking, both on the street & in the lot. Housekeeping tidied up the room each day of our 3 night stay.”

“We had a great experience staying at this property. In addition to the quality and upkeep of the rooms, we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful complimentary amenities provided by the hotel. The lobby offered complimentary coffee, tea, freshly baked cookies, and ice cream, which made the stay feel especially welcoming. “The room was quite but we had some issues with cleaning. One day the the covering was left laying on the floor and the second day there was no cleaning in the shower. The fridge was to cold so our food and drinks got frozen and we had to throw away some of it. The stay was including breakfast but the hotel has a strange system were you can choose one thing to eat and one thing to drink or order from the menu and get 8 USD off each guest. “Quaint and lovely”

“The hotell felt like going back to the late 80’s early 90’s. But well maintained. Had it not been for the price in comparison to what you get the rating would have been higher. Although that is true for almost all hotels in West Yellowstone. The pool was nice and warm but the setting was not cozy at all. ”
