“This place was amazing clean the bed was very cous”

“The 1872 Inn was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very quiet. A staff member insisted on carrying my heavy bag for me down the stairs, as well as replenishing our bottled water as often as needed. The breakfast offered many choices of hot and cold food, and parking was more than ample.”

“Very nice, clean, comfortable property. We were there mid-August so the only drawback was no air conditioning. The fans offered relief, but it was a bit warm. Kitchen is roomy and well furnished (plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc.). Living room is roomy and comfortable, fire place would be really nice in the winter. Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to town, but in a more private, quiet area. Overall very nice and was great for our family of four. ”

“This hotel is charming and off the beaten path. Very quiet and peaceful. We were greeted with welcoming smile and our room was in the corner of the property. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our two night stay at Yellowstone. Very clean and we used the laundry facilities which were complimentary We provided our own detergent of course. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!!”

“Like everyone else said, this is a small room with the smallest shower. I gotta say, the price was pretty steep just to have a bed to sleep on. Overall it was very nice though!!”

“Tiny room, kinda dirty, no a/c”

“The hotell felt like going back to the late 80’s early 90’s. But well maintained. Had it not been for the price in comparison to what you get the rating would have been higher. Although that is true for almost all hotels in West Yellowstone. The pool was nice and warm but the setting was not cozy at all. ”

“My restroom was not clean when I checked in. There was hair in the shower, so I reported it to the front desk. They told me they would have someone come clean the restroom, but no one ever did. They also never offered to move us to another room. When I reported the issue again at checkout, I was simply told they were sorry, but there wasn’t much they could do because I booked through a third-party website. Regardless of how I booked, I expected a clean room and better customer service.”

“I liked how clean it was as well as the fact that an icebox was provided, but the pots and pans in the kitchen were all very old and run down, some of them even had massive scratches in the Teflon coating, making it toxic and we weren't able to cook on them. ”

“This is a great property to stay at if you are spending a couple of nights. Kitchen was great, Cooked a couple of simple meals. Couple of negatives., the steep stairs and the laundry dryer's air filter was awfully dirty. I don't just mean the lint was not removed. The mesh in the filter is black from dirt and should be was out with soap and water to make it look clean. But overall we would recommend to others.”

“Ok, so when we arrived it was 101 degrees outside, major heatwave. The air conditioning did not work, staff said they would have their onsite maintainence take a look at it. The next day it was 97 degrees maintenance showed up no luck fixing they gave us a fan and extention cord. We left the front door of our cabin open until 11pm to cool down. The 3rd day they show up at 4pm with hvac tech. Spent 1-1/2 hours fixing the broken fan which cools the compressor. Picture show cabin with a table but...

“West Yellowstone it’s a small outdated town and it’s hard to find a decent hotel so this means that you overpay for a mediocre hotel. If I had paid half of the price of what I paid, I would probably have no complaints but because it’s so overpriced, you are expectations are a little bit higher. The pros are location is great. It’s in the middle of town walking distance to tons of restaurants shops in five minutes away from Yellowstone Park entrance. Oh, and breakfast is actually really good too...
