There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and lots to do in the surrounding area, mostly accessible by car with a few walks from the village. The host was friendly and communicative but we had total privacy throughout our stay. ”

“Comfortable clean home with everything we needed and 15 min walk into York,which is a lovely town with plenty of shops. Also shops nearby including a fish and chip shop. Only downside was trouble parking but we found somewhere not too far away. ”

“Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

“The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect...
